Juliette enters the Denali household, freezing the floor a bit in her path. She stops by seeing how someone puts a pair of shoes in front of her. She looks up and finds Kate who gives her half a smile. The newborn returns the smile and puts on the red heels to walk more calmly through the house until arriving at the living room where Carmen and Eleazar are. He finds himself talking with someone on the phone.
-I'd be in debt with you if you come for a few days to revise. - Juliette approaches Carmen who extends her hand towards her.
She sits beside her and lets the vampire hug her by the shoulders, showing support. Juliette gives the woman half a smile and after thinking for a few seconds, rests her head on Carmen's shoulder without getting tired.
-Thank you, Carlisle. Sure, I'll see you later. - Eleazar hangs up the phone and leaves it on a wooden table that's beside the three seat sofa.
-What did he say? - Tanya asks, seated beside Kate while both sister look at Eleazar
-He said he'll come for a few weeks because of some problems that Edward had. He didn't want to tell me much and I didn't want to ask. - Juliette lifts up her head from Carmen's shoulder to look at the man.
-Who's Edward? - The newborn asks intrigued
-He's one of my friend Carlisle's kids. You'll meet him in a few days. - Eleazar explains giving Juliette half a smile
-I don't want to sound disrespectful but, could you tell how I ended up in here exactly? - Juliette asks with an ashamed smile
-Sweetie, we need you to take it easy because it's not what you normally hear around humans. - Carmen says taking Juliette's hands
-Why does it sound like you're not humans? - The golden eyed vampires look at each other for a few seconds before looking at Juliette who looks at them confused.
-We're not exactly. - Kate admits crossing her legs
-Juliette, we were walking through the forest when we saw you with a group of men. - Eleazar starts explaining sitting beside her, leaving the girl between him and his partner

-We got rid of them while Eleazar tried to save you in here. - Carmen explains
