Y/ns POV
We climb down and shine our flashlights down the drainage way. We hear squeaks. "Rats. Gross" I say and continue walking forward. We walk very slowly behind one of the rats, and it almost touches glenn and he let's out a groan. We keep walking and make it to the end. It's like a cage wall. "Yeah it's a sewer. Jaqui was right" I said. "Can we cut through it?" Glenn asked. "If we had a blowtorch and half a day, sure" i say before something goes and tries to grab us. What's in its hand? The rat. Its the rat. That's disgusting. I take my knife out and stab it in the head. "Let's head back" I say.
"Its a dead end" glenn says as we find the rest. "We need to find a way" "we can look from the roof?" We walk up there and tdog and merle are still there. "Hey tdog" I say "hey y/n" we all went to the side and watched. "Theres a lot of them" Morales said. "I'm sure we can get through them. You guys got me out of the tank" rick says. "They were eating. They were distracted." Glenn replies. "That was different" I say. "Can we distract them again?" Rick asks. "They're drawn by sound right?" Rick asks. "Right. Like dogs, they here sound they go" glenn nods. "What else" "besides from hear you they see you, eat you, they smell you, they bite you, scratch you." Morales says.
"They can tell us by smell?" Rick asks. "Cant you?" Glenn asks back. "They smell dead. We don't. Its pretty distinct" andrea says. "Alright heres the plan" rick says.
Rick starts filling up the cart with clothes. "If bad ideas were an Olympic event, I bet this would take the gold" glenn says. "It might work" I say. Rick throws me and glenn a towel. We drag in the walker in. Rick is about to swing the axe into it but then he drops it and looks for they guys wallet. "Wayne Dunlap. Georgia license. Born in 1979." He hands the card to glenn. I go look over his shoulder "he was an organ donor" I say. We start to chop him up. "Oh my god this smells horrible" I say. Glenn goes and throws up in the corner, soon followed by me.
"Dont get any on your skin, or in your eyes" rick says. They start putting the stuff on me, glenn and rick. "This is so gross this is so gross this is so gross" I say. "This is bad. This is really bad" glenn agrees. "Think about something else, puppies and kittens" rick replies. "Dead puppies and kittens" tdog says. Glenn throws up again. "This is horrible! What is wrong with you" andrea says to rick. "This sucks " glenn says. "Do we smell like them" rick asks. "Yea".
"Glenn and y/n" andrea says before handing us guns "just in case". "If we make it back be ready" rick says. "What about merle?" Tdog asks. Rick hands him the key. "Only let him go once we come back". We start to walk out. Glenn rolls his eyes before continuing. This is seriously so gross. I grab Glenn's hand as we walk past some of them. It's like we're not even there. 'It works!' I mouth to Glenn. We climb under a car and crawl right back out. Seriously what was the point? We walk for what seems like hours. "I think its gonna work" Glenn whispers "dont draw attention" rick scolds. A geek comes up and starts to sniff him. It growls and glenn growls back. I have to stifle my laughter. Then, I feel drips on my head. Its raining. This is gonna wash off the blood off. The geeks start to look at us. "The smell is washing off. Isnt it?" Glenn says. "No it's not. Well. Maybe" rick says. Real comforting.
One of them starts to go for rick. He slices it in the head and me and glenn scream. We all start running, killing them along the way. We run up a fence and throw our coats off. Me and glenn grab the keys. We start a big truck and get in. I end up in the middle as a geek comes up by Glenn's window, as he screams. We drive as fast as we can. "Oh my god there all over the place" "when we get into town find a car and draw them away from the front" rick says. "How?" "Noise." We pull up to a car. "Try it" rick says. He breaks the glass in so its siren starts. Me and glenn get in "good luck" Glenn says.
Glenn starts drifting every corner. We pass rick and we drive around the store. We start to lure them away from the entrance. We drive out of the town. "WOOHOOO" glenn screams. "WOOOO" we both are having the time of our lives. We continue driving to the camp. Wearing zombie guts was totally worth it.
