"A star's life unfurls in stages of brilliant fusion and graceful expansion, until its celestial dance wanes. In its dying breath, it may collapse into a serene ember, or blaze in a supernova's dazzling crescendo, leaving behind a legacy of stardust and enigmatic remnants"

Akane Kurokawa had tried her best really, she really had. But now it seemes as if this was the only option for her.

The rain heavy on her face, thick drops pouring down on her from above.

"You don't deserve to love"

"There's no point in your living"

What was she without her career as an actress, what worth did she have in society? Her only value was entertaining people, and without het career as an actress how could she do that?

She was happy, she made people happy, she was praised, loved, and she was complemented. People loved her.

She has lost track of time, her mother was probably worried for her. The minutes passing, minutes blending.

There was a store run by an old man and his family only a few minutes away from where she lived. Both known her since she had been born, 17 years. How would they react is she walked up to them now? In her gross and broken state. Would they light up burst in excitement or would look at her coldly.

Did they hate her?

Of course they didn't, but she thought otherwise.

Her mind returns to the talk in the bathroom stalls about her.

"She looks like a bad person"

"She's pretty ugly too"

Someone so wicked, gross, and broken didn't deserve to look good after all. She was so bad she was impossible to approach, so ugly that people wouldn't get close to her, so they wouldn't be lured in. Everyone was just being nice telling her she looked nice lying and keeping her in the dark.

"She's not fit to work in a group"

They were fake, fraudulent, and lying gnomes only treating her as an equal, as a friend when she was seen useful, when she was viewed with worth.

The sounds of cars drowned out the rain, the passing trucks silencing her thoughts. A red light brings herself back to her consciousness.

"I feel bad for Yuki, if she really was sorry maybe you should kill your self "

"I wish you would just disappear like the trash you are"

Perhaps they were right. Maybe they were. She didn't have value in living if not for her acting. Acting was her life, and it had been utterly and completely destroyed.

All the surrounding noise disappeared. The only noise that could be heard were the sound of her heart beating and the sound of blood rushing past her ear. Her heart beats faster and the sound of thumping in her chest drowned out all thoughts. Everything slowly fading away into nothingness.

Hoisting herself on top of the ledge, rain or was it tears? Had filled her eyes and rolled down her cheeks. This was for the best right? This was what they all wanted after all, this was all the worth she had,

right?

Like a fading melody at the end of a symphony, the star's brilliance gently dimmed, its cosmic dance drawing to a graceful close. The once fiery heart now whispered its final notes, casting a bittersweet radiance upon the universe's stage, a poignant reminder that even the brightest constellations must eventually bow to the embrace of twilight.

And so, she let gravity take her.

Then suddenly arms clasped around her waist, Akane felt an abrupt pull of motion bring her back from certain death. Pulling her away from the edge.

Falling onto what felt like soft flesh and hard bone, an arm wrapped around her waist as she struggled to escape their grasp. An arm over her mouth covering a muffled yelp.

"Akane Kurokawa, I'm not your enemy." The voice deep and identifiable belonging to a teenager.

"Aqua Hoshino?"

Getting a good look at her now saviour or perhaps rescuer? She confirms that it is the man of her suspicions, Aqua. The distinguished golden hair albeit slightly damped from the rain water leaking through his clothed hood and his distinctive aquamarine eyes staring into hers.

Minutes passed, it felt like time had stopped. Nothing but the two mattering right now as they stare into each other. Pulled in by his starry-eyed gaze. She was brought out of her trance as she was interrupted by the tone in his voice.

Looking at him for another moment told her many things, most consciously that he was angry. This thought was reinforced by the tone in his voice.

"What the HELL are you thinking?!"

He was most definitely angry right now.
