This is about Persephone Granger, ( OC ), the sister of Hermione Granger.

She falls in love with Harry Potter, who falls in love with her back, even as the war and rivalry complicates everything.

I do not own any characters mentioned in this story except made-up names or Persephone. All of the known characters are owned by J.K. Rowling, unfortunately.

Prologue -

Persephone Granger drew her curtains and watched the street below the window. She had never liked her room being in the front of the house, but with the passing summer it gave her something to watch. A form of entertainment while the Wizarding World crumbled in the hands of the Ministry.

Her thoughts trailed to the Ministry of Magic, and she glanced down to the newspaper that was sprawled out on her desk. The Daily Prophet had been writing things about Harry for the entirety of the summer. False claims and accusations filled the innocent minds of people all around the country.

She rolled her eyes, turning back to the window. A car hummed by, the silver glittering under the sunlight. She recognized the car as Tina Elberg's, a neighbor who lived just down the road.

Persephone blinked and turned to look around her room. The sign with her name on it twinkled above her bed, the pink lights making reflections on the duvet.

Photos of Hogwarts and all of her friends were all around her room, on her desk, on shelves, and hung on the walls. It made her feel more comfortable.

The light blue was not of her choice, and originally, she was not super fond of it. But now Persephone was grateful it wasn't a neon pink that was chosen.

She allowed a smirk on her lips, imagining how bizarre her room would look if the walls had been any bright color. It simply wouldn't fit.
