The next morning, Persephone awoke to Hermione stuffing her things back into her bag, while Crookshanks meowed at her for attention.

She sat up, staring at the pair of them. Crookshanks was pawing at her bag.

" Crookshanks, stop. I'm trying to pack. " Hermione hissed, gently pushing him off of her bag.

" Awh, he just wants your attention. " Persephone added, climbing out of bed.

Hermione looked startled.

" I didn't realize you were there. Good morning, Persephone. " she smiled at her.

" Morning. " Persephone groaned back, stretching her arms.

" We're leaving for Hogwarts today. Aren't you excited? You finally get to be Quidditch Captain. "

Persephone nodded. Now she was excited. The idea of Harry being a depressed mess was crushed when she saw his excited look at not making the spot.

" That's good. I know you've been looking forward to it. Well, I'm going down to ask Ginny something. See you whenever. " Hermione finished, whisking out of the room while Crookshanks followed, purring down the long hallway.

The morning sun creeped through the opaque, dusty curtain, shimmering and forming shadows that danced on the tattered walls.

The room seemed lonely without anyone around, so she changed and got out of their, as quick as possible.

As Persephone departed the room, she was focused on a book when the book was pressed closer to her chest and heat met her face.

She glared up, and Harry stood there, smiling.

His beady eyes stared at her. " I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention. "

She shook her head quickly in response, realizing how silly she was for not paying attention. " No, no, don't apologize. I'm sorry, really. "

She turned the book and preseed it firmly against her chest, wrapping her arms around it.

" That's alright. " He said finally, stepping around her, and she felt his arm gently move her out of the way.

His icy touch swept through her, his steady arms swaying at his side as he continued on past her.

A voice startled her. " Lovestruck? " Ginny stood before her, leaning against the doorway, chewing on a piece of candy.

Persephone felt the heat rising to her cheeks, blush blooming across them, proving Ginny's point.

" Falling for the chosen one.. " she said, laughing and disappearing into the room behind her.

What was she talking about? Persephone wasn't falling for Harry, that made no sense. She simply wouldn't. She knew of his feelings for Cho Chang, and she would never even dream of exploiting that.
