Her legs feel numb.
She's been walking for what feels like days.
There are scraps and bruises all over her body from all the times she fell on the ground.
Its still pitch black.
If she falls one more time she's not sure if she can get back up again.
It hurts.
She wonders to herself,
"what is going on"
Then out of nowhere she sees something.
Its a spot of light just in the corner of her eye.
The light starts spreading from the corner to all over her eyes until all she sees is a brilliant bright light.
Then in a flash she can suddenly see everything.
She blinks.
It's brighter than she can imagine.
She looks around to see herself in a beautiful green forest.
There are birds everywhere singing songs and playing with the squirrels.
She doesn't understand how she couldn't hear them before now.
She must have been so lost in terror that it blocked out her hearing.
If that's even possible.
She searches her surroundings looking for a way out.
Off in the distance she sees smoke.
After a few moments of thinking she decides to head in that direction.
There could be a cabin or a factory.
Something that produces smoke.
A little while later she sees a hill coming up towards her.
She walks slowly up being careful of all the rocks and tree roots covering it.
Once she reaches the top she covers her mouth and gasps.
She sees a town. But something looks off. There are red lines all over it. Words. She squints her eyes and reads what it says:
"Don't tell them you can see."
She stood for a moment looking at those words trying to understand.
Tell who I can see? Am I not supposed to be able to see?
She pondered her thoughts for a while before deciding to not worry about it for now.
She'll still take the advice to her heart.
She started walking down the hill towards the town walking slower than when she came up it.  She didn't wanna fall, injuring her leg any further.
Once she got to the bottom she looked at the town more closely. From high up she couldn't see it but the town is surrounded by a huge gate. Looking as if it's there to keep people out. Or to keep people in..
She looked at it too see if there was an opening of some kind but she saw nothing of the sort.
"How am i supposed to get in?"
Then she saw her.
A little girl who looked about twelve years old was outside of the gate.
She was playing in the dirt with a stick.
"What is she doing?"
The little girl looked up towards the wall and quickly stood up
She started running her hand against the wall until it looked like she found what she was looking for.
She pressed down and a part of the gate opened up reveling an entrance.
The little girl ran through the entrance quickly and disappeared.
