Alphas:

Highest ranking, and second most common. They have the ability to make a male or female omega pregnant, as well as only female betas. They can get pregnant during ruts, but it is extremely rare if not impossible. They can identify there mate at the age of 15, by sniffing out their scents. Alphas can also have ruts, when it is hard to control themselves and get urges. They can also smell Omega heats, during that time they cannot control themselves to rape Omegas. Alphas are very overprotective and extremely jealous of their mates, especially if it is an Omega. They also can smell feelings of their mates on New Year's Eve. Alphas can discover their mate before 15 if a Beta touches them.

Betas:

This is the most common of the rankings. They can only make Omegas pregnant. They identify their mate by touch, and can feel the emotions of them as well. They also can release calming scents when coming in contact with their mate. They identify their mate by touch and can also smell distress from Omegas. They also can feel pain of their mates, mostly Omegas, because of their sensitivity. It is in their ranking to help restrain Alphas from an Omegas heat, so that the Alpha doesn't mark or hurt someone that isn't their mate. Betas are like average humans with quirks, because they don't go through ruts or heats. But they can get jealous and over protective of their mate if it is an Omega.

Omega:

These are the lowest ranking but the most unlikely. They are more sensitive and males can become pregnant during heats. When they enter heat every month they release a certain pheromone , which attracts alphas and their attention. Normally in this time period Omegas stay in their own home, and some places have basements to help the Omegas, who suddenly go into a heat. Omegas usually take suppressants, but lose significant amounts of energy if too much is taken. The suppressants control the Omegas urge as well as the scent they give off, as to not alert any Alphas of their heat. Omegas can only discover their mate through kiss. Sometimes they can be more motherly and caring for their mate, but if their mate is an Alpha, the Alpha can become dominate and extremely over protective of the Omega. Omegas usually have a very submissive personality and can be intimidated by Alphas and Betas.

Heats:

This is a time when Omegas become fertile and are able to become pregnant, but for female Omegas it is just like their period. During this time they release scents that Alphas can find intoxicating. Because of this Omegas usually stay secluded as not to be forced upon by Alpha(s), especially if it is not their mate. Throughout the heat Omegas are very clingy and needy so they stay with their mate. They also are extremely horny, leading them to be uncomfortable or in pain when they are not satisfied. However, Omegas can take suppressants that block their scents and help them control their urges. But an overdose can seriously weaken and drain the Omega of energy.

Nests:

These are made by Omegas during their heats, and are piles of extremely comfortable things that ease the Omega. Most Omegas use clothing or blankets of their mates (or other people they feel safe around) for their nests, as the scents from said people reassure and make the Omega feel safe. They also feel protected in the nest and it acts as their territory during the heat.

Ruts:

These are similar to an Omegas heat, however this time it is the Alpha going through the process. During this time they feel dominate and can be very dangerous. Like Omegas they tend to isolate themselves, for if they are exposed to an Omega, they won't be able to control themselves and may try to force oneself upon them. They are also very protective of their mates and may lash out fairly easily.
