Bakugou's Point Of View
I sat in front of the doctor, patiently. We all knew I had a quirk, but the dumb guy had to explain I do. I start muttering under my breath and then my old hag slapped my across my head. I glare at her not wanting to cause a scene.
"My apologies, he's just anxious about the results, please continue."
"Pfft"
"As you probably know, you have a quirk. But you have a ranking of an Alpha, meaning you will most likely go through ruts in a few years."
I nodded as my attention was snapped back to the man, smiling as I listened to him tell me how great I was when my old hag interrupted him.
"So that's why your such an aggressive ass. Makes sense"
She started laughing hysterically while I proved her point by yelling at her to shut the fuck up.
"OLD HAG! I am NOT an ASS! Shut up."
After we sorted out the insults, we went back to the car. As we drove I could only think about one thing, when would I be able to tell Deku. What were her results?
-TIME SKIP-
I was walking to the park so that I could meet Deku so that we could play, seeing as we haven't talked since before the results. I was so excited to see her, though I would never admit it out loud. But I am also worried, I haven't seen her around like I used to, I'll ask her about it.
"Kacchan!"
"W-what's going on?"
I started to panic but stopped when I saw Deku. My eyes softened as I saw my best friend run over with a smile on her face.
"What happened? Why were you yelling?"
"Well I got here and was calling out to you but you weren't answering me," Deku said in her normally bubbly voice. I guess I was lost in thought...weird.
I snapped out of my trace and immediately noticed something was off about Deku. Her eyes almost looked duller, and they were...red?
"Deku did something happen? Your eyes are red, have you been crying?"
My voice was filled with concern at the thought of her being upset. She averted my gaze to the ground for a second before looking back up at me.
"No nothing happened, I'm doing great. Just some dust I got in my eye on the way here."
She smiled and grabbed my wrist, pulling me over to the park. She seemed okay but something was telling me otherwise. But she changed the topic as we were walking.
"So do you know what your rank is?"
I was hesitant to answer as I still wanted to know why he was crying, but I didn't want to upset her either.
"I'm an Alpha as I expected, I mean they're so strong and cool how couldn't I be one?"
I noticed Deku frown for a second before putting on a smile.
"That's awesome Kacchan, you're amazing! I wish I was as cool as you..."
I noticed slight disappointment in her voice at the end, but decided to leave it alone and ask my burning question.
"So what about you, what's your rank?"
She winced slightly at the question.
"Well...umm...the doctor s-said that I'm an- O...he said that I'm an Omega"
I was shocked, I knew Deku probably wasn't an Alpha, but an Omega?
"Wow, that's not what I expected."
I noticed her looking down in embarrassment after she told me. I grabbed her shoulders and made her look at me.
"But it doesn't matter. You still have to become a hero with me"
Deku looked up at me smiling wider than I ever thought was possible.
"You're right Kacchan, I'll still become the number one hero even if I'm an Omega"
I smiled back at her reaction.
"Don't think you'll be number one, that's my spot Deku"
We started laughing and she grabbed my wrist, forcing me to follow her.
Deku was pulling me over to the park when her sleeve began to ride up, and I noticed some bruises. I stopped suddenly causing her to look back at me confused. I grabbed her arm and started to pull up her sleeve when she jolted away. She pulled her sleeve back down only causing me to worry more.
"Deku what the hell happened to your arm?"
Se looked terrified and I felt bad for scaring her, but I had to know.
"K-Kacc-Kacchan its n-nothing really I-I just fell on the way here,"
She stuttered out.
"Deku stop lying to me and tell me what the hell happened"
I reached for her arm again but she pulled away. I walked towards her as she started backing up in fear. After seeing that she wouldn't come willingly I grabbed her and pinned her to the ground. I grabbed her sleeve and pushed it up her arm, and what I saw was horrifying.
Her arm was covered in cuts, some of which had opened up while I was grabbing her, as well as several bruises. Some of them were in the shape of hand prints.
"Deku what the hell happened to you?"
I looked down and saw tears pouring out of her eyes.
"I- well m-my and then-"
She couldn't form words through her sobs so I did the only thing I could think of. I got off her and pulled her into a hug. At first she tensed up but soon relaxed into my chest, soaking my shirt with her tears. I just hugged her tighter, trying to be there for her. I've known her for years and I know that she won't be able to say anything while she's crying. So I just held her, telling her it would be okay.
A few minutes passed her sobs reduced to sniffled and I pulled away, grabbing her face and forcing her to look at me.
"Deku, please. You have to tell me what happened. Who did this to you?"
She wiped her eyes with her sleeve but tears still fell down her cheeks. She started to tell me what happened, even though it was a little sugar coated.
"I-It's really n-nothing. When my m-mom found out that I-I was an Om-Omega she fr-freaked out a l-little bit. I'm sure it will be f-fine s-she was just a little up-upset that's all."
I didn't know how to react, I couldn't stand seeing Deku hurt.
"Deku, this looks like more than just a little freak out. Just- just please promise me that if this happens again you'll tell me okay?"
She hesitated before shakily nodding her head. I sighed as she snuggled closer into my chest before getting up and offering me her hand. I grabbed it and we continued on towards the park to play. After all, it's been ages since we've played 'Heroes' together.
