y/n's pov

It's been a few weeks since the ball and nothing has changed between Tom and I; sexual tension. But I cant help myself seeing him a little differently. I cant seem to get out my head that second dance we had, which somehow took over the first. I felt so at peace, so warm as we swayed. Our closeness wasn't sexual for once, it was gentle. Obviously, the sexual feelings have most definitely not left but, I found myself smiling when he did his little habits such as sticking his tongue out slightly when he was focussed. I just really hoped I wasn't actually falling for him.

It would jeopardise everything.

I was currently doing what I usually do; filing. Damn this man had a lot of paper work.

I immediately picked up the phone.

"Miss Melody, could you please come in my office?"

Sometimes I forget how sexy that voice is.

"Coming sir."

I walked to his office door, taking a deep breathe as I opened it.

"Hey sir what did-"

I froze as I noticed someone else was in the room.

Dom Holland.

"Y/n, this is my father Mr Holland."

"Pleasure to meet you Mr Holland." I smiled and put my hand out.

"Please, call me Dom." He grinned.

You could tell they were related, Tom just being a more attractive and younger version of him.

"I'm going to be out with my family today so I'm going to need you to be on all the calls."

"Of course sir, have a lovely time with your family." I smiled. "Lovely to meet you Mr Holla- Dom." I chuckled.

"Likewise Miss Melody." He smiled.

I smiled back at her, once again mesmerised by her gorgeous smile. I would miss her today.

"Why don't you invite her?"

"What?" I snapped my head towards my dad.

"You obviously like her so-"

"What? Y/n? don't be stupid dad."

"Don't bullshit me Thomas." He raised his eyebrows at me.

"Maybe I have a little thing for her but I promise it's not affecting my work."

That was a lie.

"Tom. I've never seen you have interest in a girl which means she's special. Now go, invite her."

"Fine!" I scoffed, but deep down I was over the moon.

I knocked on her office and she opened almost immediately. Good to know she's on the ball when I put her in charge.

"Sir? Is everything okay?" She frowned,  a little worry in her voice.

"Yes, my father is insisting you join us today. Of course you don't have to he just-"

"I'd love to come with you!" She grinned. "I-I mean if you want me to-" she suddenly got embarrassed. I found it so cute how excited she got.

"I do want you to." I smiled.

"Okay." She blushed. "Where are we going?" She questioned.

"Just to a restaurant and then back to my home."
