Erens POV:

Eren stepped out of the office building, the cool breeze hitting his face as he made his way to the nearby market. His heart was still heavy from the call he had received about his mother's accident, even if it had turned out to be minor. She was in good spirits, but he couldn't shake the worry. As he walked, he reflected on their conversation, the relief flooding him when she assured him she was okay, just a little scar on her hand.

He made his way to the produce aisle, quickly selecting a few bright red apples. They were her favorite, and he knew they would lift her spirits. After paying for the fruit, he hurried back to the hospital, his mind racing with thoughts of his family. He entered the hospital room, where the familiar scent of antiseptic mingled with the comforting aroma of fresh fruit.

"Eren!" his mother exclaimed, her eyes lighting up as she spotted him. She was propped up against the pillows, her hand resting lightly on the bandaged one. "You brought apples! Just what I needed."

"Of course, Mom," Eren replied, setting the apples on the bedside table. "I figured you could use a snack. How are you really feeling?" He leaned closer, searching her face for any sign of pain.

"I'm fine, really. Just a little scrape. Your father has been fussing over me more than necessary," she said, rolling her eyes affectionately at his dad, who stood by the window, looking out at the bustling city below.

"I just want to make sure you're okay," his father replied, turning around with a small smile. "That's my job, after all."

Eren watched as his father moved closer to his mother, brushing a stray hair from her forehead. The love between them was evident, and for a moment, Eren felt a wave of warmth wash over him. This was what family was about—caring for one another, being present.

He peeled the apples with quick, practiced movements, handing slices to his mother. "You should really eat something. You need your strength to heal."

As they chatted and laughed, the heaviness in Eren's chest lightened. They shared stories and memories, filling the room with laughter that echoed against the sterile walls. His mother's smile was infectious, and soon Eren found himself reminiscing about his childhood, the carefree days spent in their backyard.

After a couple of hours, he knew it was time to return to the office. He kissed his mother goodbye, promising to visit again soon, and headed back to his company. As he walked through the halls, he felt lighter, rejuvenated by the time spent with his family.

Once he reached his office, he found his secretary waiting for him, a folder in hand. "The investigation report you requested is ready, Eren."

Eren took the folder, his heart racing with anticipation. He sat down and opened it, scanning the contents quickly. His breath hitched when he found the name he had been searching for: Levi The owner of the coffee shop the mysterious Omega he spent the night with  his mate.

"Levi Ackerman," he read aloud, a small smile creeping onto his face. He couldn't shake the feeling of connection he felt towards this omega, even after only one night together. The details of the report explained that Levi ran a popular shop and had a tight-knit group of friends, but what struck Eren most was the realization that Levi was someone who had built a life for himself, independent and strong not easy to conquer.

Eren leaned back in his chair, a newfound determination filling him. He needed to find Levi again, to see if what he felt was real. This wasn't just a fleeting encounter; it was something more, something worth pursuing.

"Levi Ackerman," he whispered to himself, a name now etched in his mind and heart. Eren knew he wouldn't stop until he found a way back to him. ..........
