Luke's

Hapon na mi nakauli ug gi hatod na nako sila. This is just really a perfect day.

Knowing that I am his biological father is a dream come true. Halos mahurot akong kusog sa pakig bond kay Lucas. But I won't get tired of them.

Wa ko ka feel ug kasuko kay Raven. She raised our son alone and I can't be mad at her.

She's so brave and strong to face the world with our son at her young age. Without me.

“We'll just talk about it next time.” tingog ni Raven.

I know what she's talking about. Maong nitando lang ko ug nag focus sa pag drive. Our life now is not as easy as before, we have a son now and have to explain it to our parents.

“Papa, let's play again next time okay?” sulti sad ni Lucas nga nakasabak kay Raven. He is half asleep.

Gihatod nako sila sa gate, and I kissed Lucas before they went inside.

Raven waved at me and I just winked as a reply.

Naghulat ko nga maka sulod sila bago ko nihawa.

I arrived happy and overwhelmed at my mom's penthouse.

Alas singko palang sa hapon ug sure ko nga naa ra si mama diri.

I am ready to tell her what happened today. Can't wait to see her reaction.

“Mom? Where are you? What—”

Nagdali dali kog sulod sa penthouse pagka kita nga wala naka lock ang pultahan.

Knowing mom, wala niya ginabilin nga unlocked ang pultahan bisan naa ra s'ya diri.

Impossible sad nga makalimot sya. Unless she's drunk or something happened.

Nahunong ko sa akong nakita coz everything was just messed up.

Ang sofa wala naka plastar, the TV has cracked on it. Pati ang mga vase, nagkanda buak na.

What the hell happened in here!?

Where is my mom?

I went to the kitchen ug mas double pa guro ang nahitabo diri. Murag gi agian ug bagyo.

Nangulba nako sa akong mga nakita that I immediately went upstair to look for my mama.

Is she fine? What happened? Nakawatan mi? Did anyone hurt her? Where is she?!

God!

I got too many question inside my head pero my mom's safety is a must.

“Ma?” tingog nako pag sulod sa kwarto niya. No one's here.

I checked the other room, pero wala. Wala koy nakita. Wala si mama.

I'm fvcked up now. Where is my mom?!

Gusto na nako manawag ug security pero nahutdan nakog kusog. Out of nowhere, my knees were trembling. Sa kagubot sa penthouse ni mama, I can't calm myself. I'm starting to worry and overthink.

My mom..

“Where are you, ma?”

Nahurot ang nahabiling kusog sa akoa. Tibuok penthouse na akong gilibot to check if my mom's here. Pero nagka wad'an nakog pag asa. My brain wants to burst out of my head after thinking too much.

I'm getting more worried as time passes by.

I did try to call her phone pero unattended.

Wala na nako napugngan akong luha. Nakahilak nalang kos ka worry para kay mama. Gahuot na akong dughan.

I'm worried, scared and I can't breath easily. Hantud sa nafeel na nako ang kawad'ag kusog.

Wala na koy laing mahimo kundili ang mo lingkod sa salog.

“Luke! Your mom!” a voice called me.

Gusto man nako sugaton kung kinsa ang naabot pero wala nakoy kusog.

“Luke, are you there?” tingog ni Kevin ug iyang sunod sunod nga footstep nalang ang last nako nadunggan.

Tiredness filled my body. Then I went unconscious.
