Fallin' in Love

~ Chapter 5 ~

          "Why are the lights on?" You think to yourself as you punch in the passcode. You take off your backpack and hold it in front of you ,taking small steps towards the dining room. You see a figure bending over the kitchen counter.
"Heiden?" You say.

"I thought you wouldn't recognize." He looks up with a grin on his face.

"HEIDEN!!" You scream. You toss your bag on the couch and jump at him ,wrapping your arms around his neck. He hugs you back ,picking you off the floor.

"How's my baby sister?" He asks ,tightening the hug.

"I missed you sooo much! I thought you were going to come home next month!" You say.

"They let me go a bit early ,also ,i missed my baby sister." He says ,pulling away. He places a kiss on your forehead and caresses your cheek.
"How long will you stay this time?"

"Hmm..let's see." He throws his arm around your shoulder and gives you a side hug.
"Longer than last time." He says with a wink.

"YESSS! This is the only good thing that has happened today!" You say hugging him.

"Hey ,how about we have dinner and do all the talking after that?"

"Oh yeah ,i'm sorry!" You giggle.
"What would you like?"

"Hmmm...chinese?"

"I'll call." You grin at him ,picking up the phone.

        After dinner ,you sit down on the couch next to Heiden ,leaning your head on his shoulder.

"Mi rae?"

"Yeah?"

"What did you mean when you said that this is the only good thing that has happened today? Is everything okay at school? You didn't say any such thing in the letter ,you sounded happy so i'm just asking again."

"No no! Everything is fine at school. I just meant it as in it's the best thing that's happened today." You lie.

"I can tell when you're lying you know? You're hiding something ,aren't you?"

"Heiden ,i'll tell you if i'm having trouble with something ,i always tell you!"

"I know ,i'm just worried about you kiddo. I hate leaving you here all by yourself."

"Don't worry ,i'm fine! Besides ,i get to send you letters so that makes me happy! By the way ,did you get the last letter?"

"I did! Who's this Han kyul? Do i need to be cautious of him?" He says with a laugh.

"Nah!" You chuckle.

"He's a great guy. He's become a good friend to me ,Heiden! The only friend!"

"Well i'd love to meet him someday!"

"Hey Heiden?"

"Hmm?"

"You're the best! I love you!" You hold onto his arm snuggle closer to him.

"I love you too kiddo." He places a kiss on your head. Soon you fall asleep holding onto him and Heiden smiles looking at you.
He moves your arm away and lifts you up ,and carries you to your bedroom. He tucks you into bed and places a kiss on your forehead.

"Good night baby sis." He says before leaving a fast asleep you. ~

"You seem really happy today! What's the occasion?" Han Kyul asks.

"My brother came back from the army! I really hope he stays for longer this time!" You say ,taking out books from your bag.

"What do you mean ,longer this time? Everyone goes to the army once..or has my entire life been one big lie??" He says ,widening his eyes.

"Ha Ha ,very funny." You say ,making him bring out his smile.

"Heiden is the major general for the marine corps ,so he keeps coming back and forth from the base."

"Woah! That is so cool! Can i marry your brother?" He says with a laugh.

"No. I don't want him to marry a weirdo like you." You stick your tongue out at him.

"Jokes apart. That really is something! I bet Heiden is pretty badass."

"Yeah ,my brother is one of a kind." You boast.
The bell rings and everybody shifts in their seats ,facing the blackboard. The cranky Mr. Cha walks in ,flaunting his famous potbelly.

"Miss Kang?"

"Yes teacher?"

"Can you go and get my binder from the staff room? I seemed to have left it there."

"Yes ,i'll get it!" Once you're out in the hallway ,you realise that you don't know where the staff room is. You slap your forehead and shake your head.

"What do i do now?" You think to yourself ,looking around.

You make your way to the second floor and keep walking through corridors ,feeling more confused than ever.
You come across a brown door ,which seems different from the usual classroom doors so you assume that it's a staffroom. You knock and enter but the sight in front of you makes your jaw drop open.
