A/N: Title might change. Since the last chapter, Mango has linked Purple to his PC and they've been chilling. There's a whole background plot that's been going where Mango's been fighting Dark & Chosen for other sites & it's turning into a whole thing. He hasn't adopted anyone else- or if he has, it's been temporary.

This is a direct sequel to not only the chapter before this one but also to Questioning Reality and Scars in Nightmares & Memories, in a slightly different AU? It's complicated. Most of my AUs are literally just a sliding scale of how sadistic Mango is. (This book is dedicated to pure!Mango but he doesn't show up in either of those chapters, so they can connect).

I want to just merge everything but Missing into the oneshot book actually- comment w opinions on that pls.

Mango was making dinner when a familiar black stick figure strode through their internet portal and let out a deep growl. "I need your help, and I'm NOT leaving until I get it."

Mango whipped around, stunned, and instinctively grabbed his staff. "Chosen!? How did you find- nevermind. Just get the STICK off my PC!"  Fluidly switching from the creative block to a command one, Mango tagged him and started forcing him backwards towards the portal again with a scowl.

Chosen dug his heels in and pushed back against the force. He summoned a fireball, but didn't release it. "Look. We both hate each other. We've been at each other's throats for the last six years. BUT. This is your ONE CHANCE to end the fighting for good."

Mango paused. "You're lying."

Chosen shook his head. "You keep asking what I want, right? This is it. I want you to bring someone back from the Void. If you-"

"The Void?! What do you take me for, an idiot? That's impossible, and you know it!"

"Well, that's too bad, I guess." Chosen summoned a fireball. "You'd better make it possible, or else everything here goes up in flames, starting with her."

Dark stepped through the portal behind him, restraining a little purple stick. "Purple?! What did you-" Mango's expression hardened and he stalked forward, cape flowing behind him. "If you do ANYTHING to her, I swear to your Animator that-"

Chosen threw out an arm to block his path, and Mango effortlessly shoved him aside. Dark summoned an energy ball, holding it by Purple's head. "Stop right there, or else.

She wailed, struggling against his grip, and Mango hesitated. His eyes flickered between Purple, Dark, and Chosen, and he hissed, annoyed. This was his home turf- he was supposed to be in charge here. What happened to that?

Chosen started explaining. "We have an older brother, his name is Victim. Vic. He was a ghost by the time I was created, and was unable to leave our computer with us. I want you to bring him back."

"I already told you, I can't do that! The Void is inaccessible- that's kind of the whole point!"

Dark broke in. "Doesn't your little game have, like, a respawn mechanic? Can't you just manipulate that or something?"

Mango gave him a very skeptical look. "That's not the way that works!"

"I dont care." They all glared at each other for a minute. "Time's ticking."

"...I guess? I'll try? But I want your word that you both stop the destruction, right now. I don't want to see or hear of you attacking another site, ever again- either of you."

"Fine."

"What?!" Dark's head jerked up. "Both of- woah, woah, Chosen, that wasn't part of the deal!"

"It is now." Chosen turned back to face him. "I just want him back, ok? I just- I want to be a family again, with the three of us. Don't you want to meet him? I want you to meet him."
