Cale knows he's gonna die soon. He knows how few times he's left with by now, no, Cale knew this gonna happen to him from the time he stab himself in the heart.

But Cale kept hiding this fact from everyone. Whether he is too good at hiding, or others just didn't care about that much.

'As it should.'

He said to himself. Keep on lying even though he knows that they're his family, they care about him. He just saying those to ease his own heart that is slowly dying.

And today? Today is his last day and he's on the bed, waiting for that son of a bitch God of Death to escort him away.

"Human!"

"Cale-Nya!"

And of course, they would have to suffer by seeing their father figure die right in front of him.

'Fuck you, GoD!'

That is what Cale curses inside his head, and of course, GoD will hear this. He could already hear the disgusting sounds of GoD's cry.

"What is it?"

Cale as, trying so hard to get his voice out, even if that makes his pain more hurt than before.

"Choi Han said that you can sing."

"Can you sing for us human?"

Cale mentally curses that old but young man. Why must he make things harder for him?

'Aigoo..Whatever.'

Cale braces himself, taking a long breath that is probably one of his last breaths.

"Cause time wasn't in our favor.."

Cale drag the child closer to him, letting them lay down on his body. His voice nearly cracks, grabbing the attention of people around the villa.

"This isn't "Goodbye", this is simply "See you later."" 

Cale stops singing. His time has come.

"Raon..On..Hong.."

The three look up at their father, looking straight into his sleepy-looking eyes. Wonder how can he looks so tired.

"I love you..remember that.."

Sigh..

Cale let out his last breath, he's now asleep and will never wake up again.

But unknown to him, by the time he mutters those last words, almost the rest of his family are outside of his bedroom.

"Human?"

Raon moves closer to Cale's face and touches it. His eyes darken, same with On who felt the heartbeat of their father slowly stop.

On who are oblivious of this situation can only look at that door slowly open. Wonder why their face looked so shocked until he saw 

On and Raon has tears slowly rain down out of their eyes.

"Noona?"

On moving closer to his sister, almost jumped when he heard Raon suddenly scream as loud as he could.

"Human this is not funny! Wake up or I'll- or I'll blow this world and kill everyone including myself!"

"Cale.."

Others who heard those words and are near quickly ran up to their beloved ex-commander. They can't believe what they just saw.

It's true, their hero, the one who gave them somewhere to call home just left them.

Cale Henituse, hero of two Kingdoms and "home" for those who near him will always be remembered.
