Jane's POV
I relaxed as the hot water soothed my aching muscles. It was probably due to all the stress that I haven't necessarily had much sleep.
When I got home I walked straight to my room to avoid any conversations with my parents. I am physically and emotionally incapable of keeping things from them, let alone lie to them.
However, I did have to explain the whole new and improved me. Mum was so thrilled at the fact I'm becoming girlier.
Harry promised he would handle everything but I have yet to see anything my chaos.
Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating because I'm still not over that kiss.
Is it normal for me to be unable to think of anything else but that kiss? It just seemed so perfect. Just thinking of it makes my heart race.
I need to just relax and get my mind off everything for now.
Some things just,
Some things just makes sense
And one of those is you and I
Well some things just,
Some things just make sense
And even after all time
I'm into you
Baby, not a day goes by
That I not into youI belted along with Haley Williams playing from the speakers. I'm one of those people that play music at an extreme volume and sing in the shower. It is my guilty pleasure.
After rinsing off my body, I shut off the water and reached for my towel. I began to dry my hair so the ends do not drip before drying off my body and wrapping myself in the towel.
I stepped out of the shower and picked up my dirty clothes off the floor. I grabbed my glasses off the counter and opened the door to my bedroom.
"Have a nice shower?" Harry asked from his reclined position on my bed.
"What the fuck," I screamed and held on to my heart. Quite frankly if I didn't, it might rip out of my chest." Who let you in?"
"Your parents are home."
"I meant in my bedroom." I narrowed my eyes." Haven't you heard of privacy?"
"I've been in your room loads of times."
"Yes, but those times, I wasn't fresh out of the shower." I scowled and threw my dirty clothes at him.
"You've seen me come out of the shower before." He took my dirty clothes and shot them into my hamper." I don't see what the big deal is."
Clearly, we are about to have an argument that I will lose so I decided on changing the subject.
"What are you doing here?" I rolled my eyes while making my way into my walk in closet. I went inside making sure to leave the door open enough to hear Harry.
"Picking you up to go to dinner." I snapped my head out of the closet to look at him. He was wearing a white button up that was tucked into his black pants. From the corner of my eye, I saw his jacket and dress shoes.
"I thought our date isn't until this weekend."
"What? I can't take my best friend out for dinner?"
I eyes him suspiciously waiting for a catch to arrive.
"We are going out to dinner as friends?"
Normally, these kinds of things wouldn't phase me. I would've went along and go to dinner with Harry no questions asked. However, with the new circumstances, I have nothing but questions.
"Why so shocked? I only want to treat my best friend to a good time." He mocked hurt, but his hand to his heart." Now dress nice so we can get a move on."
