I was finally going to meet Daniel one of my sworn brothers. I was so excited because after spending years in America I could see him face to face today.
I entered the villa and found it eerily silent. I was alone with just my 3 loyal members.
I saw a table placed on the front door. I went near it and saw something covered with a white cloth. I removed the cloth and nearly gagged at the sight in front of me.
It was Daniel's body burned. His once white skin was now pitch black. I saw a note next to him as I read it.
'You are next😉' ~Y A.
"Boss, we need to step 10 steps back." One of my members said as I immediately widened my eyes and stepped the mentioned number.
Suddenly the house blasted into a huge fire as I flew to my car. We 4 made it back in one piece except for some glass injuries.
"THAT BITCH!! I AM GONNA MAKE HER PAY FOR THIS!!!!"
Jin POV
It was now midnight. But no sign of Ann. I made everyone sleep early. Only I, Theo, and Helen was awake. Theo and Helen were very tense. I saw a shadow going upstairs. But before I could check who it was-
A knock on the door was heard as they flew to the door and opened it revealing and injured Ann and Mark.
"ANN!!! Are you alright?" Theo asked as tears rolled down my eyes.
"No shit Sherlock. I am perfectly alright." Ann sassed as Theo shook his head.
"So are you going to keep her bleeding till she dies or what?" Mark asked as I motioned Ann and Mark into the medical room.
Ann was laid down as I sat near her. Helen was taking out all the medical stuff.
"Why are crying? I did say I will make it out alive." Ann calmly told as I shook my head.
"You are injured. I promised you I will protect you. But I couldn't." I spoke looking down as Ann's eyes softened.
"Hey. Look at me," Ann said and I looked at her. "There was nothing you could do. I will try to finish this mess as soon as possible. More than that it's just my third Time getting injured In a mission. Don't worry ok? I can't bear to see my moon to be sad." I nodded as she smiled holding my hand.
"Theo make him sit on the couch and close the door." Ann said.
"No way. I am going to stay here." I said.
"No. You will wait outside. I will be ok." She said.
"I should start now." Helen said as Theo and I went to the couch.
"I will be back." I said to Theo and went to the terrace.
Helen POV
"Ann. This is going too deep." I whispered as instructed. Ann finally showed her weak side.
"It's not the first time you are doing this are you?" Ann weakly looked at me.
"I want you to bite onto this cloth." I said as she did.
I slowly removed the bullet from her knee as she bites onto the cloth to suppress her screams. I put it onto the tray and I dressed up the wound with 3 stitches.
Then I went to her hand injury. It was less painful since it didn't hit any bones. I carefully removed the bullet and put it on the tray. I dressed up the wound as she removed the cloth from her mouth. I also injected her with some medicine to make her sleep for the night.
"Thanks." Ann said as she slightly tried to lift her leg but quickly retreated from the pain. "Sorry. But can you call Theo to just put me in my room?" I nodded as I went outside to call him.
"Can you take her to Jin's room?" I asked
"I will." Jin said and came downstairs. His eyes looked red and puffy but we have someone injured.
"She must be asleep by now. Just make sure you don't touch her wounds. She also told me to say that if anyone asks about her wounds tell them that she went to a party and then suddenly someone started shooting." I said and they all nodded. Mark left when I started to treat Ann.
Jin took Ann without any difficulty for both of them. And went to his room.
I went to the kitchen to drink some water after cleaning the medical room. Theo went to clean the corridor in which some bloodstains were left. I turned around to find Yoongi coming downstairs.
Well, they introduced themselves.
He just went to his bedroom with an emotionless face.
"Let's go sleep. Tomorrow I will have to go to the office instead of Ann." Theo spoke setting the cleaning supplies aside.
"Ok then. Even I have morning duty."
Then we went 💤💤💤.
Jin POV
Ann was fast asleep as I lay beside her. We were all sleeping like that. In 1 room 1 couple. I honestly felt so down after seeing Ann like that but after talking to him I feel good again.
But my heart does 5 beats at a time. I don't know why.
