Aera POV
As much as I loved to see my only family alive. It also brought back my memories. Even if I was small. I remember that night vividly. I was put into the orphanage that night itself. And the orphanage life wasn't that good. I had run away from the orphanage when I was 20. Then I had started a restaurant and Jinyoung used to visit me and well my temper wasn't great. After some years I met Yoongi and here I am. Listening to my past again did make me angry.
I was right now facing a ready-to-attack Ann and on defense Byun. Ann was back-facing the door. As she was about to make a move a guard stormed inside the room and directly stabbed Ann in the back. She cried out in pain and turned around taking the knife out and stabbed him right in the heart. She clutched onto her wound tore the shirt of the guard and tied it around the injury. While Byun was caught up seeing Ann wounded she had thrown the knife towards us. While I and Y/N took this chance to remove all the ropes and gags.
"That was a very lame way to start a fight." Ann commented as Byun just smirked. She was buying us time.
"Now that you don't want my offer. Let's end it. I will just take Aera in place of you." He said taking a knife. And that's when I understood that Ann was probably wearing the bulletproof vest. Ann also took out her knife.
He lunged towards Ann and well they were dodging and attacking for a few moments until they came back to their initial position. Which was Ann back-facing the door. Ann had managed to make a few cuts on Byun. But Ann had a bigger one on her hand and the back injury was bleeding again. I am sure she will pass out any time soon.
While she was clutching her wound Byun took this chance.
It striked like a Deja vú.
Everything happened so fast. He lunged towards her. I and Y/N shouted 'Dodge' and she looked up and saw him coming towards her she dodged it but the old man couldn't get the friction to stop and at the same time, a very excited Jinyoung came inside. The old man eye's widened but stabbed his son straight in the heart.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!" The old man screamed and threw the knife away. He fell with his son who was taking his last breaths.
"I didn't do it. I didn't I-" He stopped when he felt his son going limp in his arms.
[This was the mentioned part earlier. It was not completely true but it was a spoiler ;) ]
"I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!" He screeched and stood up taking the knife from the ground. We both stood up and went to support Ann who was on the verge of fainting. Ann gave a small pat to the ground.
He was about to go towards us when Nath slid his gun to Ann. She shot three bullets into Byun from the front. I guess he died. Ann gave out a weak smile and fainted.
"Ok. Let's go." He said picking Ann up.
We both followed him outside. He let us in first and then put some clothes to support Ann's injury. He also let her sit in the back seat.
He quickly threw something from the car to the building got inside and drove at full speed. Behind us, something burst into fire.
"Good job." Ann mumbled and passed out again.
We reached the hospital within 5 mins thanks to his speed.
Theo was standing outside with the emergency staff and equipment.
Ann was laid down on the bed and taken to the OT. While I and Y/N were taken to a separate room where we were treated. It was just small injuries that happened when we had struggled to get out when we were kidnapped.
After that, we were taken to a separate room where all the BTS family except Ann was present. Jin Oppa was laid down on the bed with a bandage around his waist.
We were greeted by our boyfriends hugging us tightly. We mumbled we are okay. And then was made to sit on the big couch near the bed.
Y/N POV
I was sitting on the couch and Jungkook was calming himself down after seeing a small band-aid 🩹 on my hand. That's when I noticed a small girl lying next to Jin Oppa. She was hugging his arm and sleeping. I made my way towards them.
"Is that Ann's Daughter?" I asked as I patted her head.
"Yeah. Her name is Areum." Jin Oppa said and slowly rubbed her back.
"You are a Father," I said and he nodded with a warm smile. "I am gonna be the cool Aunt." I said to make the environment a little better and it did. Everyone laughed and I and Aera fought over who was the cool aunt and in conclusion, everyone was fighting over that. Then the boys except Jin Oppa were fighting over who was the coolest uncle. In a conclusion, we decided to wait till Ann recovers and competition will be held to know who is the coolest Uncle and Aunt.
Helen knocked on the door and everyone stood up in anticipation except for Jin Oppa. Namjoon Oppa adjusted his pillow and he sat straight. Areum was awake by the sudden loss of warmth.
"I have two good news and bad news." Helen said in her doctor's attire. Ann was brought to the room with all the medical stuff. She was laid on the bed, unconscious and she looked so weak. Areum started crying again. Eunjoo took her in her arms and patted her back to make her fall asleep again.
