"Where's Noah!?" Kate held Anna by the collar of her neck.
"Noah's wishes Kate, when time struck 12, you'll officially take over." Anna said sad, yet unfazed. Kate dropped Anna in which James and Felix came to her aid.
"He's also my best friend, Kate" picking herself up and dusting herself. Then directed back to her posts. All soldiers went quiet.
"Anna...!" was the last thing Anna heard stopping, which then continued her way back to her post.
Anna stared at the dark horizon, barely seeing anything without her night vision glasses. Anna took a deep breath, with tears starting to roll done her eyes, her legs gave up, and with a loud thud, holding the railings as a support, she muffled her cries with one hand. Anna can't think other than the guilt of letting go of one of his best friends. Anna held her left side and grabbed her heart. Holding her left side, trying to suppress any more damage, but the emotional damage is not the same as physical ones. Her tears then turned to loud cries. By her side, Kyle tried to comfort Anna.
"What's going on?" Kyle asked in a worried tone.
"Sorry Noah... Sorry Noah... Sorry Noah" Anna chanted in her tears.
After 30 minutes of comforting and crying. Annabele thanked Liam and went back to his post, worried that Anna will have another breakout and reassuring him that won't be the case. Anna went back to staring at the horizon, the moonlight illuminating the distance. Taking a deep sign. Until she noticed a shaking movement, closing in the view with her sniper, she took a view, and then her eyes went wide. There general and Noah running into the ruined building. Re-checking, she took a breath and said,
"Kyle... Fire" without hesitation.
