"Hey" Kenny waved at Noah

"Why was Brad covered with people? I thought they're scared of him?" Noah questioned.

"Ah! it's nothing!" Kyle jumped, bumping his elbow towards Kenny.

"Hm? Oh yeah, it's nothing, though Noah you sure are something" Kenny remarked earning a slight harder bump from Kyle.

"What do you mean?" Noah was in question.

"Nothing! Nothing at all" Kyle jumped to the question.

"Anyways! What brings you here Noah?" Noah readied his question once more, this time more confident.

"Isn't there anything you both want to do?" Both seemed to think and answered with a hum.

"Actually" Kenny took Kyle's hands and in a swift movement quickly closed the distance with only one meter between him and Kyle.

"K-Kenny? What's going on?"

"Shh for now" Kenny then closed the distance of their body, embracing the shocked Kyle and the somewhat emotional Kenny.

"Thank you for saving me, Kyle. I mean every time, high school was such a hard time for me, without you, I'd probably not be here right now, in front of you." Kenny embraced harder with the result of blushing Kyle, but his face turned more of a surprise rather than embarrassment.

"Remember when you asked me about joining your fair, one where you gave me the peace lily?" Kenny took out his wallet and a picture shown in front of Kyle was a peace lily photographed by the sun with a rare grinning Kenny on the view. He contemplated whether Kenny is the real beauty there or not.

"This little thing helped me through and out of tough times. Thank you" Kenny once more said. It is true that Kenny had a certain past, Noah heard of rumours about Kenny relating to an indecent family which he had to work for 24/7 keeping up with his studies. The scene is melting Noah's heart.

"You're welcome Kenny, in everything you do, I'll be sure to be there to protect you, no matter how many times it takes," Kyle said this time with a grin and this time with a confused Kenny.

"Did you both know that peace lilies represent purity and can also mean healing?" Jackson joined in with Ethan holding his hand.

"It's too much of a coincidence to just give a random plant to Kenny now is it Kyle?" Noah teased.

"I- yeah! It's just a coincidence hehe..." Kyle shifted in an uncomfortable manner.

"Kyle came up to me when I was tending the garden in school and asked what flower here represents healing and peace, seemed too specific when I asked what's it for, all he responded was it's for a fair. Or rather, for a person" Jackson's eyes landed on Kenny.

"You-" Kenny was at a loss of words, who knew that his best friend had planned all this, a simple gift and yet he was too oblivious to notice. Once more in an embrace, the two joined together. With Kenny deeply appreciating his best friend, even everyone can't think they're best friends anymore, bombarded Kyle with thank yous and sniffles in which Kyle was proud to provide.

"Hey, it's my turn to answer Noah" After a moment of calming down Kenny from his sudden hysteria. Kyle came closer to Noah and said,

"I'd like for us, all of us to meet in the afterlife. This time, in a high school. Guessing you'll probably be a prep based on your figure" Kyle laughed.

"Everyone, after all this" Kyle announced staying near the fire, getting everyone's attention.

"Even to those people on that radio, Thiago, Ari, and Damian... Ethan, Felix, Noah, Kate, Anna... Liam, Jackson, Brad, Taylor, Zack, Andrea, and Davey... Kenny, Me, and Carla." Kyle mentioned all the names of the soldiers in the room whose attention is all focused on Kyle.

"Let us meet again in the next life, a better life where we are no longer limited of our decision, but spend our time together as friends. As we stand here today, I want us all to vow, that in our next life, we will all share the same laugh we are having now, the laugh that we missed during our old times and the bond that we've encountered even in just a day"

"Everyone, this is not a goodbye but rather a 'see you later'" Kyle sniffled along with the others.

"Let's all make a vow and a promise that we won't be separated..." Kyle trailed off and no longer has the ability to continue his speech due to his intense crying. Fuck. Everyone broke into an emotional breakdown.

"Everyone..." Noah sobbed

"I'll probably be a prep" Noah announced earning the curious gazes of a lot of people.

"I'll probably be a prep too" Joined in Anna, Felix, Kate, and James.

"I'll definitely be a jock" Liam announced in a burst of fitted laughter.

"I'll be friends with Jackson, Zack, Andrea, Taylor, and Davey" Brad joined in earning shocked reactions, they had probably seen too many shocking things about Brad today.

"But next time, I'll be more of myself" Brad added.

"Well we'll probably be a jock too" Thiago and Damian joined but still on the radio.

"Or a bully" Ari joined in. "I'll definitely be a jock" she then added.

"Now everyone... let's see each other in our next life" Kyle cheered and so did the others bursting into a fit of joy and laughter. Arm locking in each other's embraces.

Brad called for Noah to sit beside him.
