"So... what about you, Ethan?" Jackson asked,

"What about me?"

"Well since I kinda spilled some part of my life and I-" Jackson shifted awkwardly,

"I want to know you better" Ethan felt like it would be fair to share some of his life with Jackson, although that's not the proper reason it isn't, he was charmed by Jackson's awkwardness earning him a giggle.

"You really want to know about me?" Ethan asked

"M-mhm!" Jackson was determined.

"I want to escape home," Ethan said plainly, staring at the open fire, amber reflected in his iris illuminating his figure. Jackson somewhat found that beautiful.

"I want to run away"

You got a fast car, I want a ticket to anywhere,

"I want to go somewhere far away, anywhere but home." Ethan then held Jackson's hand for comfort. Although Jackson being shocked, he didn't retract from it but instead held it intimately.

Maybe we can make a deal, maybe together we can get somewhere

"Thanks" Ethan whispered.

"Just like you, my father was a drunkard, mom left us for the better, she did want to take me with her but no one will take care of my father... so I quit school, worked part-time jobs, shouted by my father in any way. I started to feel, well I don't want to self-diagnose but I think I was starting to get depressed. Wasting money on pills would just be a waste, I still have to earn a little bit for school. I read a book once about travelling, that made me want to run away from home, but looking back at the bottles on the floor, I said I'll wait." Jackson took Ethan by his lap,

Any place is better, start from zero got nothing to lose,

"W-what? W-what are you doing" But Jackson didn't answer but instead stroked Ethan's hair gently.

"Might as well comfort you the same way you did to me to be fair right?" Ethan didn't want to admit, but it sure is working.

"Fine..." Ethan said blushing.

Maybe we'll make something,

"Ehem, continuing. There was this one night, I was in front of the road, there was a single post lamp illuminating the streets. There was an urge that made me stay in the middle, then I heard a whisper, 'Leave tonight or live and die this way'. I didn't even realize the headlights until a car stopped by and asked if I'm okay." Jackson's arms were wrapped tighter on Ethan.

"I just want to be free" Ethan sniffled.

Me, myself, and I got nothing to prove

"Shhhh it's okay now, everything's fine, you have me, you have everyone now" Jackson comforted the sobbing figure.

"I want to leave Jack! I wanted to be far away and start my life... but I was stuck here" Ethan continued to cry louder, others seemed to be worried but Jackson stopped them from coming closer, reassuring them that he got this.

"Let's run away, Ethan" Ethan raised his head in question.

"Let's run away somewhere we can start over again"

"Wh-at d-do you m-ean?" Ethan asked while having hiccups.

"It might be late, and we had our share of stories but, after this, we will all have the courage to run away, start anew with everyone, meet up again and have the life we always wanted, may it be next life or the next reincarnation. Let's run away for now and wherever it leads us... will lead us back to who we have now" Jackson faced Ethan towards all the soldiers saluting. Ethan's eyes brightened up. They were all willing to run away, to start anew and that is with everyone.

"After this, can we... can we hold hands and cuddle longer?" Jackson asked scratching the back of his neck looking away in embarrassment.

"In another life, I promise, I promise that this time when I run away, I will always end up with you" Ethan yet again broke, fragile as he may be, he was robbed of his life, living the life to take care of what was lost in the beginning. So why not let it go for once, right?

laugh off and smile the pain

and be eager

to start anew.

"Congratulations you two" Brad clapped and soon many followed.

"Nice view huh" Kate was beside Noah which made Noah jump and almost die from a heart attack.

"Kate! What the heck!" Noah breathing in shock

"We told you so" shouted Felix and Anna who were clapping along with the crown of the new lovers. Noah went to his best friend and bid them congratulations, this actually made Noah sob a little bit, hugging Ethan.

"Thanks, Noah, even being behind the wall gave me courage" Ethan giggled.

"You knew!?" Noah gasped, ashamed that his year training and still can't bring to being stealth.

"It was quite obvious with your head peeking out. But yet again, thanks Noah" Noah and Ethan embraced each other.

"Nyaw! Ain't this sweet!?" Kate remarked joining in the hug. After moments of talking, Ethan motioned to surprisingly, Brad's group. Looks like Liam along with Davey, Zack, Andrea and Taylor are talking casually with the surprisingly not threatening version of Brad, more likely confused but smiling along the way. The view made Noah's heart melt as he sees his general talking with the others.
