Chapter 2: Return of Rivals

Rock and All Might land at the Midoriya residence, a small, comfortable home in a rather close distance to U.A High, which Rock only knew about due to the scans he ran earlier.

All Might rings the doorbell, shrinking back into Toshinori, to avoid the press, and a woman's voice responds: "Who is it?"

"Toshinori Yagi, All Might. Is Izuku home?" Toshinori responds.

"Oh! Yes, he is, come on in!" The woman, assumedly Izuku's mother, says, opening the door. "He's in his room, drawing sketches of hero costumes, trying to decide the one he'll use. Do you want me to go get him?"

"No need, Inko. We can find him ourselves." Toshinori kindly, walking in, Rock following behind, only to be stopped by Inko.

"Well, who is this?" She asks.

"Ah, that is Rock Light. Is it okay if he stays with you and Izuku for a while?" Toshinori asks.

"That's no problem at all! He looks like he could get along with Izuku." Inko reveals, notioning them to Izuku's room.

Toshinori and Rock walk back to Izuku's room, knocking on the door.

"Come in." A sleepy voice says, as Rock opens the door, followed by Toshinori.

Rock walks in, lighting up his eye-screens to see in the dark room. He walks up behind the green haired boy, who he assumes is Izuku Midoriya, and looks at the desk he was almost sleeping on. Covered with All Might merch, which is covered by sketch papers detailing hero costumes, like Inko said.

"I think you should base your design less on All Might." Rock said casually, startling Izuku.

"Wh- Who are you? How did you get in here?" Izuku asks, when Toshinori calms him.

"At ease, young Midoriya. This is Rock Light, the same one you nominated to go to U.A. Instead of the usual reprimanding for public Quirk usage.

"Oh! I completely forgot about that!" Izuku says, getting up and turning the lights on, and Rock realizes that he is just about the same height as Izuku. "So, what are you doing here, All Might?" Izuku asks his teacher.

"I just came to inform you about Rock. He will be staying here for an indefinete amount of time, and be attending Class 1-A starting tomorrow. I have already checked with your mother, and she is aware." Toshinori explains.

"Oh." Izuku shrugs. "Well, not that I'm complaining, it'll be nice to see a new face around!" 

"Heh, yeah, nice..." Rock nervously chuckles, remembering his first encounter with Bass, and his older brother, Proto Man, alongside the capture of the previous eight Robot Masters he had faced not long ago by Wily.

Rock stares standing at the U.A campus, amazed.

'Once you see it up close, it really does look incredible...' Rock mentally says, his eyes gleaming in the sunlight.

"Hey, I know how you feel." Izuku says. "I bet I had that same look in my eyes when I first came here. C'mon, lemme show you to class."

A few minutes later, Izuku and Rock are walking into the 1-A classroom, looking around at the unique faces around them, Izuku quickly makes introductions, however, everyone present is unaware of the figure watching over them from a distance.

Focus Change

"Heh, gullible as always." The figure laughs, looking similar to Mega Man, yet with a pair of scissor blades on his forehead, and a red-white color scheme compared to Mega Man's blue-blue.
