Not a Quirk (Mega Man Classic x MHA.)

Chapter 3: Heroes VS. Villains

Mega Man wastes no time, he is in a relatively aquatic area, the flood zone. Designed to simulate a flood to practice rescues underwater. Unfortunately, Mega Man knows a Robot Master all too well who would love this place.

Mega Man stops treading the water and lets himself sink, and notices that he is right. Bubble Man is already waiting for him down there. Mega Man immediately equips Metal Blade and starts throwing.

Bubble Man activates Speed Gear and keeps dodging around Mega Man.

'Of course Wily gave them the Double Gear!' Mega Man complains trying to anticipate Bubble Man's movements.

Bubble Man flings himself at Mega Man, but instead of trying to dodge, Mega Man activates Power Gear and holds Bubble Man down, pulling out a double-sized Metal Blade, and slices his head off in one swing.

Mega Man exhales and swims up to the surface, only to be greeted by Izuku, Tsuyu Asui, and Minoru Mineta on a ship they somehow got. Mega Man climbs on, kicking a shark-like villain off of him with Power Gear.

"Thanks for the save." He says. "Where did you get the boat?"

"We should focus on getting out of here, first." Izuku says as more villains begin to surround the ship. Before Mega Man can do anything, Izuku informs the group of a plan. He uses Delaware Smash to create a whirlwind, into which Mineta uses his Quirk to stick the villains together, as Tsuyu gets them out of the area.

"Our top priority should be to call for help. We'll be overwhelmed if we try to fight." Mineta says.

"You're right." Tsuyu responds. "We can take that waterslide down to the central plaza and get out of here."

"One small problem." Izuku points out. "Eraserhead's still there fighting the villains."

"Then we gotta help him!" Mega Man objects as he dives down the slide. Upon reaching the bottom, he finds Eraserhead in a bad position, about to be mauled by a bird-like beast.

"Hey, Nomu, we're retreating." A pale man with a hand on his face says.

'What?' Mega Man thinks to himself. 'Why did they come for nothing?' His train of thought is interrupted by the hand man going to grab Tsuyu, but nothing happens, as Eraserhead uses the last of his strength to nullify the man's Quirk.

Izuku runs forward and charges a punch up and launches it right into the back of the hand man's skull. He doesn't even suffer from recoil or broken bones. But it doesn't matter, as the strike had been intercepted by Nomu.

'Why does this have to happen!?' Mega Man groans to himself as Izuku is picked up and almost strangled by Nomu. Mega Man grabs a chunk of the floor using Power Gear and Super Arm and throws it at Nomu, causing it to falter and drop Izuku.

"Nice one, Mega!" He hears All Might yell.

"Bit late there don't you think?!" Mega Man yells back as All Might fights Nomu. Mega Man then gets a nagging feeling in the back of his head, on a whim, he turns around and fires a semi-charged shot directly into the hand man's chest.

"Rock! Leave him alone! We have to get out of here!" Izuku yells.

"He's right." The hand man says. "After all, a robot may not harm humans."

Mega Man's pupils shrink to pinpricks as he shudders at that last statement. But he regains his composure and smiles as All Might appears behind the hand man.

"It's over, Tomura. You won't win this fight."

"You win this one, but mark my words. One day, I will kill you." Tomura says, and All Might throws him through the ceiling. The man who had scattered the class then warps away to find him as the villains retreat or are defeated by the swarming Pro Heroes.

"Are you okay, Rock?" All Might asks.

"Minor damages, nothing I can't handle."

"Good. I believe you should head home and inform Inko about her son. He will be staying here to have his injures attended to."

"Alright." Mega Man says as he walks out of the U.S.J.

"Oh, and Rock." All Might says as Mega Man turns around. "Don't worry about those bots, we'll take them with us." He reveals as Mega Man smiles and leaves, stepping out into the warm sun.

Mega Man walks past the reporters and de-synthesizes his armor once he is out of sight. He sticks his hands in his pockets and reflects.

'Wily... These people have done nothing to him. Yet here he is working with villains to take over the world... Actually, now that I think about it, that does sound like him. I wonder what Dr. Light's doing back home. Probably working on that 'Project X' he mentioned. Roll and Auto are likely worried sick. Rush went with the others. Beat and Eddie likely don't even know I'm gone. Proto Man and Bass are no doubt searching for Wily and I. This world's nice, but it isn't home...'

Rock takes a glance at U.A. as he passes by.

'Never gets old... Hey, if I am stuck here, I'll manage. It's got things to do and places to see.'

A few minutes later, he knocks on the door to Inko Midoriya's apartment.

"Come in!" Inko says from behind the door as Rock opens it to step into the apartment. "Oh, Rock! You're home early!"

"Yeah... There was a villain attack earlier today. We were caught in it. Thankfully, everyone's okay."

"That's right..." Inko says, looking to the T.V. Still showing a news broadcast of the aftermath of the attack. "So Izuku's okay?"

"He's fine. He's just getting healed for his injuries, Quirk-related, of course. He should be back tonight."

"Oh! What a relief."

"Yeah, it would've been worse if Tenya Ida didn't get out and warn the Pro Heroes." Rock points out. "I've gotta say, your son has a promising future. He works well with others, and his Quirk has great synergy.

"I can tell." Inko says, smiling.

"Well, we just have to see what life has in store. Anyway, I'm going to sleep for now, I've had a long day."

"I can agree. Sleep well." Ink says.

With that, Rock heads back to the spare bedroom that had become his since he moved in, he gets comfortable, and puts himself in rest mode.
