The Next day Ian called me and asked for lunch but I already had a day off yesterday so I can't skip today. I apologise to him and ask him to make it up to him for the next time. Khloe also called me and said she has something to say to me and that she is going to stay at my place tonight. So I guess it's a girl's night.

I spent my whole day yelling and shouting at teens in the school. God! don't know how their parents handle them.

Nevertheless, Ian still continued to message me and we talked on random topics.

I got to know a lot about him. He's an orphan and lives alone. He has 5 brothers from the same orphanage. 2 of them were already married and the rest are wondering and fooling like him.

He's a really patient person and rarely gets angry but when he does nothing can stop him. He loves to draw and art and he said he works in a design field or something. I guess we are going to be good friends and I can ask him to design something for me.

As for me, he already knew about it from the drunk call I made the other day. He actually found it funny.

After school, I went back to my place and got out of these professional clothes. I made some dinner for me and Khloe, she must be here anytime.

As I expected she walked into my house with wine in her hand. She looked happy.

"Hello, Kia." She said and hugged me.

"Hello to you too. What happened to you, why are you glowing? Don't tell me you're already pregnant?" I tease her.

"No way in hell. I can't handle kids. As for me, I'm glowing because I'm happy and I'm happy because I have a boyfriend." She said jumping around.

"Seriously? Woah, girl, I'm so happy for you. Is this the same guy you went on a date with the other day?" I asked and she nodded her head. I gave her a very tight hug.

I'm so happy for her.

"I met him in a club but don't feel too confident to tell because you had a breakup on the same day. I'm sorry." Why is she feeling guilty?

"No, you don't have to. I understand. I was quite worked up. But I'm now that my friend is committed." I cheer for her.

"You should too. Forgot about that bastard and go out." That made me realise I haven't told her about Jason cheating on me.

"By the way, I have to tell you a lot too and you also have given me every detail about the date and this. Let's get over this dinner and then talk later." I suggested.

We had our dinner and we enjoyed it a lot. She told me things about her boyfriend from which he sounds genuine and good.

After dinner, we sat on a couch and she faced me.

"Now, about you. What happened? What did Jason do?" I know she knows me perfectly. She knows there is something wrong.

I explained everything to her in detail and also about Ian and my drunk call to him which she found amusing.

"OMG, girl you had so much in just 2 days? I don't know how to react, I mean I'm angry at Jason for cheating you. But I wanted to laugh at your drunk call incident.
At the same time I feel excited about this Ian guy…" she said, giving me a totally confused look.

"You don't need to feel anything. It's already done and I'm over Jason. I mean I do feel hurt and sad but he's a bastard and wants to forget about him as soon as possible." He changed a lot in the past months but never imagined he would do this.

"If you want to get over him this fast then you should get help from this Ian guy." She suggested and I looked at her confusingly.

"How can he help me with this?" I asked her.

"Well, you should try going out with him. He sounds safe and he also helped your drunk ass to get home last day. I think he's trustworthy… Ah, I have an Idea, you said he asked out today right?" I nodded.

"You're going to ask him the same tomorrow and give him a chance. Look K, I know how lonely you are right now and you need someone in life. If not romantically then, emotionally. You called in your bed and he listened to you. Give him a chance and see where you both go."

She's right at some point. I do need someone to talk to, share my feelings and someone to call when I need.

Maybe I should give us a chance and he does sound interested in me. I'll see that tomorrow.

After talking for hours we both went to bed and I decided to check my phone for the last time. As expected Ian messaged me saying good night.

I replied with the same.

Less than a minute later he replied to me.

'Still up?' he asked.

'Khloe, my friend, came for dinner and a night stay. We lost count of the time, talking' I replied.

'It's late, you should rest.' He said.

'It's late for you to Mr Good night' I said and locked the phone back.

Let's wait for tomorrow and see where it goes.
