The next morning, Y/n awoke next to Miu in their bed. Flashbacks from the night before came shotting into their brain as they smiled. They snuggled closer to Miu, who was sleeping peacefully. It was currently 7am and they had no idea why they were already awake, so they decided to sleep again.

A few hours after that, at 12am, they woke up again. Miu was already awake, scrolling through her phone as she also stroke Y/n's head with her fingers. They shifted as they looked up at her, from a neutral resting face, Miu started smiling brightly. "Good morning." She said as she put her phone away and went to the same eye level as Y/n. "Good morning." They said back with a raspy voice as she leaned forward and placed a kiss on their lips.

After that, she got closer to Y/n and wrapped her arms around them, hugging them tightly. Y/n returned the geasture as she closed her eyes, enjoying the comfort. Y/n also closes their eyes, feeling as if they were about to fall asleep yet again, this time in her embrace. As soon as they were about to, a knock was heard on their door, making them shot their eyes open. They turned around to face the door as they faced Miu again afterwards.

They knew that they didn't have to be afraid that she wouldn't support it, but it would still be awkward. "Y/n? Can I come in?" She asked. "Uhhh..." they said as they thought of a response. "Sure but I'm not alone in here." They said as she coughed awkwardly. "Then... uh... I'll leave you alone for now..." she awkwardly said as you could hear footsteps going downstairs again.

"Holy shit that was so awkward." Miu whispered as they nodded. "Okay uhm... I don't know what my mum wanted but maybe we should head downstairs." They said as she nodded. Y/n sat up as Miu joined them. Miu cleared her throat as Y/n turned their attention to her. "There is... something I wanna ask you." She said as they nodded,"What is it?"

"Does that... no, do you want to be my official partner?" She asked as she tried to seem confident but got majorly nervous. They smiled,"Of course I want to." They answered as she sighed in relief. "Damn, that was harder than a presentation in front of the whole class." She muttered as Y/n laughed.

They then got up from the bed, deciding to announce the news to their mum as well as listen to what she has to say. As they arrived downstairs, with Miu following from the back, they greeted their mum. "Is there something you... wanted to talk about?" They asked as their mum faced them. "I just wanted to know if you had fun last night...." She said as she noticed Miu slightly hiding behind Y/n,"But it seems like you did.... and thank god not with a guy." She said as she muttered the last part, sipping her coffee.

"Ah... well... yeah... that..." They said as they looked behind them. "I wanted to say that... she's my girlfriend." They said as they held Miu's hand. "I wish I could say that I'm surprised, but I'm not." She said. "Wh- how?" They asked. "As we ate our dinner she looked at you the entire time. Also I heard you panicking in your room after she left." She said as they blushed.

"So, are you staying over more often?" Their mum asked Miu as she shrugged. "It depends but yeah I think so?" She answered. Their mum nodded,"Well then, I guess taking out the pictures of Y/n's childhood would be an amazing decision. Sit down, we have lots of pictures to go through." She said as she stood up and searched for the pictures.

"Mummm-" Y/n said as they were about to complain, but their mum cut them off,"Shush, if she's your girlfriend now, then there is a high possibility that I will be her mother in law someday so we have to help her catch up on the stuff she missed." Their mum explained as both of them shared looks. "Also, while doing it, keep it down." Their mum said.

"I will go and start digging my grave." They said in embarrassment. "Can we atleast eat breakfast first?" They asked as their mum nodded,"But hurry up, I'm not a patient person." She said as she sat back down, sipping her coffee. The two of them quickly ate their breakfast in fear, and then Y/n had to endure the embarrassment of all the pictures they took after they got adopted. "In this one, they dropped their ice cream and started crying." Their mum said as she pointed at it. "Naw, poor little Y/n." Miu said, completely invested in all those pictures.

"And this is them being a bit to sassy." She continued as she showed a picture where their attitude was literally showing through the pictures. As Y/n already dug their grave and laid down, accepting their fate, Miu and their mum enjoyed looking through the pictures.
