"What are you doing here!? How is this possible??" was the first thing I blurted out as soon as I saw my mom standing in front of me.

"Hey sweety, are you okay?" She asked, patting my head.

I was still sweating, and my breathing was unstable. I looked around and immediately recognised the place. It was my bedroom, and I was lying in my bed.

"Mom, I was in Jimin's house. How did I end up here?" I asked her, whispering.

"Shh. Shh. Calm down, Sweety. Jimin was the one who brought you here" he said.

"Jimin got me here?!" I asked in surprise, my head still buzzing.

"Yes. He also told me everything that happened. I'm sorry you had to go through this" she said.

"I know you fain......" she continued to say something, when the room door opened, revealing Jimin.

I felt pretty calm, relaxed and safe in my room with my mom close to me. But the moment I saw Jimin, I became alert, my hands started to shake, and I just wanted him to go away.

"Is she up yet Mrs Kim?" Jimin asked.

I tried to get up to move away from him but felt a shock wave through my right hand, just like the one I had felt before.

"Ouch!" I let out a painful cry and plopped right back onto the bed.

"Hey, are you okay? Don't strain yourself" he said as he came close to check on me.

"How dare you show up here?" I screamed at him.

"Ok y/n, I think you need to hear him out before you yell at him. You two talk it out while I'll go and make you some tea" she said and left the room.

Jimin and I were left alone in the room. He came to sit next to me on the bed, but I moved away, indicating that I was uncomfortable.

"No no.....don't do this y/n. You are the only friend I have" he said, looking at me with puppy eyes.

"You expect me to throw myself at you after what you did?" I asked, trying to control my tears.

"Hey! I'm sorry. Do you think I like hurting you? I didn't mean to do any of this. I owe you an explanation and apology, so before you say anything I want you to hear me out" he said.

"I don't want to hear anything, Jimin. You have hurt me in ways I never expected. I don't think any explanation can possibly explain your actions. Please just let me be" I said, getting up from my bed.

I felt him grab my hand and pull me back on the bed. I sat down again. He leaned in close to my face. We were just a few inches away from each other.

"What the hell are you doing?" I said, trying to free myself but couldn't.

His grip on my hand was quite firm.

He looked into my eyes and I could tell that he was guilty and sorry. "Please hear me out, just once" he said, tears filling his eyes.

"Everyone deserves a chance, right? Moreover, he has been a really good friend all these years. Let me just hear him out" I thought to myself.

"Ok" I said.

His eyes lit up. He looked happy and grateful that I agreed to listen to him, but suddenly the happiness disappeared. All I could see was a blank, emotionless face.

"Y/n, you need to listen very carefully. There are a lot of things that are going to shock you but trust me, it's all true" he said.

What is that supposed to mean? His words started to bother me. I was eager to know what explanation he had for his actions.

"What do you me....."

"No, I'm not done yet and don't interrupt me until I finish" he said.

I kept quiet and looked at him.

"First of all, you should know that under any circumstances I would never hurt you intentionally. I need you to trust me y/n. I know you have lost faith in me after what happened today. But whatever happened was a part of my plan to save you. Please trust me" he said.

"What's happening Jimin? What are you talking about? Nothing is making sense to me. Is everything ok?" I asked.

There was just silence for a few seconds before Jimin spoke in a low voice just enough for me to hear what he was saying.

"My mother is not my mother....."
