Mephiles POV

Have you always wished of being perfect?
Perfection is something everyone want's .
But not me, Ive always been forced to be perfect,
And im so sick of it

Aliah is speaking <3

" You're second place. Second place!?! Is that all you can do!?? You are a disgrace to this family! If you wont make it to the top, I will be ashamed to ever call you my son!"

The hedgehog was silent. No words could ever come out of his screaming heart, wanting to burst out, Anger slowly swallowing him, But instead he smiled and said. " I will reach the top." With that he turned his back and walk towards his bedroom. Tears was forming itself in his eyes, while he smiles those tears began rolling down his face, The hedgehog was just eight years old, Not even the right age to be yelled at like that. Mephiles has always been forced by his parents to be perfect, He was force to hide each and every single flaw, It was never enough to his selfish parents. People have called them the perfect family, its the title that every family wanted, Perfect is just a fantasy everybody wishes, Nothing and nobody is perfect, Mephiles knows it too, because he knows who he is underneath, Isn't it selfish to force someone to be something they dont wanna be?

3 years have past, and the hedgehog grew up with the name perfect, To be totally honest with hiself he's gay, But he knows that this cannot go out in public, He'd never had a chance to be true self, This..... Had made him felt so painful inside, One day he unconsciously put his shoes on, opened the frontdoor and left it shut, He ran and ran through a never ending path in the forest. Only to find himself lost, He can only see trees, Big trees that blocks his every turn, Being in this situation he started to panic, And walk through circles over and over again. Suddenly the sound of laughter made his ears perked up, wanting to be found, he followed the sound, Using his ears he let his feet move towards the laughter, Left, left, Right, straight He did his best until all of his efforts led him to a little playgroud, Which is familiar to him, So this means that he can finally track his house. He was about to head to his so called house,But a laughter once again has caught his attention, He looked back and happened to witness a White hedgehog who was laughing with pure happiness while swinging at the swing, Without him knowing that the white hedgehog has already noticed him staring, The stranger smiled at the black hedgehog and waved his hand. This made Mephiles realize that the stranger has already noticed that he is staring at him, His face turned light pink as he turned his head with embarrassment.
But out of the blue the white hedgehog has popped out beside him, He was shocked of course because he's not used of being startled like that, His face was flushed, As the white hedgehog smiled and gave him a hug, Mephiles felt something strange inside him, He felt as if he had always longed for that hug, that was gave by a stranger, Who was, well if youll ask him, Beautiful, The stranger finally let go of Mephiles and gave him a big smile, Mephiles asked "Why did you hugged me?" The stranger looked at him with a curious face and then smiled, He opened his mouth and spoke the answer, " Because you seemed like you needed it!, Besides its just a hug every body deserves one!" With that the stranger turned his head and walked toward the opposite direction of the road towards Mephiles house, But before he completely disappeared he turned around once again and smiled at Mephiles while waving his hand goodbye, After that the stranger disappeared with the wind.

Mephiles continued his way home, While walking he cannot get his mind out of those beautiful honey colored eyes, It was he can practically smell and taste honey everytime he remembers it, His thoughts were interrupted by the sound of lightning from the sky, He slowly lifted his head up to take a quick view, Despite knowing that it was gonna rain hard, He looked back at the lonely road and continued to walk, After walking like a hundred steps Mephiles finally reached the front door, He was soaking wet but didn't mind it at all He was too afraid to reach the doorknob, He hesitated , but as he already built up enough courage to open the door, His ears suddenly perked up hearing the sound of crying and shouting inside the house, He quickly opened the door to know what was happening, To his surprise his mother was crying on the other hand his father was walking back and forth while bitting his nail, Mephiles cleared his throat catching the attention of his worried parents , His mother took a few second of looking at his son, She noticed that he has been crying, And he was soaking wet ,his body dripping with cold water. Mephiles father quickly ran with open arms to give him a warm hug , Followed by his mother, the two cried out load as they held their son in their arm's, Mephiles started crying, more and more tears rolled down their cheeks .
