chapter one

🕊️ the accident 🕊️

It was silent and peaceful, the lights were turned off, and the curtains in the room prevented the bright sun rays from shining into the dim room.

There lay a male in his mid-thirties, sleeping peacefully on his messed-up bed. Loud thumping footsteps were heard, getting closer and louder to the door until the door barged open - revealing a woman in her mid-thirties.

"Wake up, nii-chan!!" She shouted, entering the room as the male started groaning and covering himself with his blanket.

"Mm... Five more minutes..." The man muttered lazily, grunting from underneath his cozy blanket.

"I thought you had a schedule arranged for meeting your co-worker??" She exclaimed, walking closer to his bed and then yanking the blanket from him, "Get up, you sloth!!"

"Ah, Tamura?" He groaned, scratching the back of his neck as he let out a big yawn.

"Hmm... Yeah, I don't know who is it but I remember you told me about it days ago." She explained, shrugging.

Satoru was still sleepy as he yawned once more, "What time is it, Satomi?"

"It's 08:15 AM" Satomi simply said, checking the time on her phone.

"Hmm... 8 am..." His eyes widened, "8 AM!? Shit, I'm late!!!" He shouted in shock, jumping out from his bed and pushing Satomi out of his room so he could get ready.

The woman is Satomi, she is the little sister of the male which is Satoru. Satoru came out of the room, all dressed up and formal with a suit while Satomi stared at him.

"Wow. You look so important when you aren't." Satomi commented making the man scoff as he rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, whatever Satomi." Satoru replied, "What are you wearing anyways, you look like some sort of detective."

Satomi smiled, "At least my fit looks nice!" Satomi was wearing a brown trench coat that made her look like some sort of detective.

"Ah, I'm coming with you." Satomi smiled, walking to her brother who was about to exit the door, "What? Why?"

"Well, I haven't had any breakfast so we could get some with your co-worker." Satomi shrugs, "Besides, I think spending some sibling's time won't hurt! What if someone broke into the house when you're gone and killed me??"

"Aish don't talk like that!!" Satoru punched Satomi's arm lightly as the woman beside him laughed, "I'm just joking."

The two then exited their house and walked through the crowded streets where Tamura told Satoru to meet up. Tamara is Satoru's junior co-worker.

"Oh- senpai! Over here!" A voice shouted, gaining both of the sibling's attention.

"Oh, Tamura. Sorry, I'm a little late." Satiru greeted him in a chill manner as they approached the man that has a brunette woman beside him, "So, what do you want to talk about?"

"Well, allow me to introduce my fiance" Tamura smiled, turning his head to look at the woman beside him. 

"Nice to meet you, I'm Miho Sawatari." The female beside Tamura known as Miho introduced herself, bowing.
