chapter four

🕊️ protect the goblins 🕊️

After Kumiho and Rimuru accept the offer of protecting the village, all of the goblins surround the both of them and just stare at them - confused about what to do.

"Well, we can't expect anything from the battle with the Direwolf Clan. Everyone looks feeble and worn out..." Rimuru told Kumiho who agreed, "This is giving me unexpected pressure..." He sighed, referring to how the goblins were just staring at them.

"Everyone! You do understand the situation, right?" Rimuru exclaimed.

"Yes! It's a life-and-death battle, that we are prepared for!" The other son of the elder replied, having his hand in a salute position as the other male goblins behind him followed his firm and ready manner.

"Relax, don't be nervous! Just think about doing your best!" Kumiho exclaimed, smiling as the other goblins looked at her with blush and adoration.

"Wah! You sure said something cool, Kumi!" Rimuru said, looking at Kumiho with blush too as the fox just smiled. He looked back at the goblins, "For starters, take me to where the injured are"

Just as Rimuru wanted, the elder brought the two of them to the hut where they were trying to treat the heavily injured goblins. "We tried to treat their wounds as much as possible..." The elder told them, staring at the many bodies of the injured goblins.

"The injuries are way deeper than what I expected... Kumi, you consumed some of the healing flowers in the cave, right?" Rimuru asked, looking at Kumiho who nodded her head up and down, "Let's use it on the injured. I'll try first."

Rimuru started expanding his body, turning taller before he dropped down to the nearest goblin to his left and covered his whole body. "Lord Rimuru, what are you doing??" After some seconds, Rimuru sprayed the goblin out and he was healed perfectly, even conscious.

"Huh, what?" The wounds of the goblin were completely healed.

"Do it, Kumiho!!" Rimuru looked at the fox who nodded. Since Kumiho isn't a slime like her incarnated brother, she can't eat them and throw them back out as Rimuru does. Kumiho opened her jaw widely as a glowing bubble started appearing.

'Kami, I want to release the healing potion and heal the goblin I'm aiming at' Kumiho asked as the robot-like voice appeared in her head.

"Releasing Hipokte Potion... RARE healing potion."

And like that, Kumiho releases the glowing bubble that floats and then enters the goblin's body - the injuries on the goblin's body started healing up quickly and he started to wake up, confused. "Nice!"

Rimuru and Kumiho worked fast, healing the goblins left and right before finally healing all of the injured goblins inside that hut. The elder and the other goblins look at the both of them in awe, "As expected of Lord Rimuru and Lady Kumiho!"

"Let's build a fence now! We'll strengthen the defense around the village!" Kumiho exclaimed as the other goblins agreed with her.

When the full moon shined brightly, the dire wolves were already prepared to attack the goblin village and destroy their village completely. As they started howling, Kumiho didn't look as scared as the goblins who had their spears out - behind the fences while the two special creatures stood outside the fence.
