I walked through the halls, looking down at the little piece of paper I was given. It had my locker number and code.

The school honestly looked so dead. I mean, it looked like a shit hole but what do you expect from a public school.

I finally found my locker. Now all I need to do is put my code in.

'Hi, I'm Charlie'. I frowned before looking up. A boy waved at me.

'Uh, hey'. I went back to trying to unlock my locker.

'What's your name'? I didn't look up to answer him.

'That's not your concern, Charlie'. I opened my locker and put my board in, closing it.

'I have to see, Mr Gardner'.

'The Principal, right? Gosh, I hope he isn't an old bastard like my last one'. Charlie laughed.

'I don't think this one is old'. I raised my eyebrow.

'So sure? Good luck with the oldie, Charlie'.

I went my own way, trying to look for my classroom, I was already late but by the looks of things I was never going to find it.

I opened a door thinking it might be my class but it was dark so it was. The bell rang again but I ignored it.

I was in the theatre. I walked on stage and there was a piano. I slowly sat down and pressed a key. I chuckled and put my bag down.

I smiled when I started playing. I could stay here all day. No one knew I was even here except for that Charlie kid.

'Come here, little bird'. I giggled and ran to my mother who was sitting at the piano. She lifted me up to her lap and guided my fingers.

'Miss Robin Prince, if you are on school grounds, please make your way to the principal's office. Robin Prince to the principal's office'. I sighed.

'Should I go? Yeah, why not? Get to meet him at least', I said to myself.

I grabbed my bag and walked myself to the principal's office. Upon reaching the door, I opened it and stepped in.

'Ever heard of knocking'?

'No'. I sat down in front of his desk.

'First day and you already missed most of your classes. Why'? I shrugged my shoulders. He held up some papers. 'Interesting resume you got. Is there a private school you haven't been kick out of'?

'No, don't think so but you can tell me if there is'.

'Hey. Drop the attitude'. I scoffed. 'What happened at your last school? May I ask'?

I looked at the notice board, filled with anger and sadness of being humiliated.

'No, you can't ask'.

'What did I just say? Drop the attitude'. I rolled my eyes and picked up my bag, standing up.

'As far as I know, this conversation is over'. I opened the door and walked out.

I actually went home. I had some stuff to do and I could pick up classes tomorrow.

I took off my shirt so I just had my bra on and put on some light blue Denim overalls.

I went to the garage and took the cover from the orange Audi R8. I got to work, opening up the hood and starting with the engine.

.
.
.

I jolted awake by glass smashing on the hood of the car, right next to my head.

'What are you doing here'? My dad slurred. I got up and tried to clean the glass. 'Shouldn't you fucking be in school'. I looked at my watch.

Shit and I haven't even showered but I'm sure they have showers in the locker rooms.

I grabbed some fresh clothes and skated to school in a rush.

The halls were empty so I ran to the locker rooms and locked the door. Thanks God there was a clean shower.

I was able to wash all the motor oil off me and change in piece. I walked out when-

'Miss Prince'. I stopped dead in my tracks. 'Had a nice shower'?

'You know, Principal Gardner. I did, thanks for asking. Now if you don't mind, I'll be heading to class'.

'In my office'. I sighed. I followed him to his office and sat down. 'So, missing classes again'.

'I was going to go to class, honestly'.

'You expect me to believe that? What were you doing having a shower? Don't have one at home'?

'Well, I was already late. I was thinking if I took one here, I can make second period'.

'What's in the bag? Drugs, smokes'?

'I don't do drugs or smoke'.

'Interesting for the high school rebel'.

High school rebel again, clean your act up, Robin.

'Show me what's in the bag'? I zipped it open and took out my clothes, throwing it on the ground.

'Next time you assume something, headmaster. Best be sure you know the person'.

I stormed out of the room and went to looking for my class. Luckily, I did.
