Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook, who have been friends since birth, are inseparable college students acting like brothers, while their mothers share a close friendship. On the other hand, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu have known each other since first grade.

Dahyun and Taehyung were close due to their parents being coworkers, but after Dahyun's father's passing, they temporarily stopped communicating. However, Dahyun's parents enrolled her in Taehyung's school to ensure he could look after her.

After finishing middle school, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu transferred together to a new school, with Chaeyoung and Tzuyu following Dahyun to high school. During Dahyun's first year, she and Taehyung introduced each other to their respective friends.
