🔒 Alyshia's POV 🔒

Okay. A new day means he's going to pop up right? He might have just forgotten yesterday....

"Mum, I'm going to go out again today." I said and took an apple from the basket.

"Again? Why?" She turned around from cutting the meat and looked at me.

"I'm meeting Baekhyun again..." She just nodded and I left the house. It's okay! Everything's okay!! He's definitely going to come today. I went to the cafe again today and waited there. A shadow suddenly hovered over me.

"Alyshia?" I turned around but his face was all dark because he was covering the sun. He moved towards the seat in front of me and sat down.

"B-Baekhyun....?" I looked at him and he was the one from the daydream I had yesterday...

"I'm sorry I didn't come yesterday... I missed my flight and--" Why is everything happening like what happened in the daydream yesterday?"

"It's okay. As least you popped up today." I smiled awkwardly. Is this actually Baekhyun...? He called the lady over to take our orders.

"Yes can I please have one hot cross bun and a salad sandwich?" Oh gosh.. Am I going to catch him red-handed like how I did yesterday...? Why is everything becoming real for...?

"But Baekhyun... Aren't you allergic to tomatoes?" I looked at him weirdly. If he answers like how he did in the daydream yesterday... Everything's over.

"Alyshia you silly person. Of course I am. The salad sandwich is for you! I'm going to eat the hot cross bun." He smiled like how Baekhyun would used to smile when I did something silly.

"Oh! Right!!" I just laughed it off since I didn't want to think about it too much. We talked and caught up on stuff for the next 3 hours. It was currently 4:07pm when we separated out ways.

"I'll call you on Thursday." He smiled and waved at me while leaving the cafe. Baekhyun really is back... Maybe I'm just dreaming crazy things. I was walking home when I found Sehun feeding the homeless cats across the street.

"Sehun!" I waved at him and he just turned around to look at me then turned back facing the cats while he was crouching. Why is he so cold like that? Jeez...

"You could've at least said 'hi' back.." I said softly while walking up to him to pet the cats.

"Do you know the cats?" I was crouching down with him and I turned around to face him. We were quite close, but I've been closer to someone's face before.

"This is Muffin, Blueberry and Pearl." I pointed at each one, said it's name then turned around to Sehun so I know he was listening to me.

"Who named them?" I looked at him then smiled a bit.

"My late father." I said. He looked at me awkwardly then pat my back.

"I'm sorry..."

"No no that's okay. My father adopted these cats and ever since he passed away, we left them here so the whole neighbourhood would remember my father. He was a loyal person who helped everyone with their technical problems. He was a voluntary technician but people still gave him money even though he didn't want it." I explained to Sehun. He seemed interested but gloomy at the same time.

"So... Do you live by yourself?" I asked him then he suddenly stood up.

"I grew up at an orphanage with no parents or siblings." He exhaled a bit harder than I expected to I just stood up with him and patted his back then held his hand. It might be weird since we just met yesterday, but the last 10 minutes we were talking it was pretty dull.

I took his hand and dragged him to the markets.

"What are we doing here?" Even though dad passing away was sad, having no family was even worse.

"Let's go shopping!!" I went into the kinds store and put funky glasses on Sehun. He took them off coldly and walked off. He's such a boring person oh my gosh.

"Come on Sehun! Okay okay. Let's go to a karaoke room then." I dragged him out of the shops and into a karaoke room and chose a song for him first.

"Everyone loves SNSD!! Let's go this!!" I chose I Got A Boy and suddenly, his inner self came out. He was dancing like crazy and did a high pitched voice to sing on purpose. Even though I was surprised, I just laughed it off and went to dance with him. 4 hours passed and it was 8:23pm.

I had to help Sehun get home because he was drunk for some unknown reason and it wasn't that he was heavy, but he was so tall that a short person like me couldn't live holding him. But yet as a good neighbour, I dragged him home on my back somehow and got the keys from his pocket to open the door and helped him inside the house into his bedroom.

I know it was weird to go into someone's house that you've just met and into their bedroom, but I had to. he was drunk and oh my gosh I couldn't even. While I was walking down the stairs I saw the photos he had up on his wall. Is he a photographer? There were landscapes everywhere as well as scenery's.

There was this one picture that really got to me. It was a flower with a quote at the bottom. "Don't do something you'll regret. Do something you'll want to do again in the future." I smiled when I read this photo for some reason. It's actually quite inspiring.

But then I promptly got a call from an unknown number so I just picked it up.

"Hello?" There was no reply back until I said hello a second time.

"I'm sorry." The person on the phone said. His voice was quite familiar but I couldn't really tell whose it was. The weird thing was, right after the person said that, he hung up straight away. It's like he wanted to give me an indirect message.

I just shrugged and didn't think about it. I walked home since Sehun lived next door and just went to bed without even doing anything. Sometimes I think I shouldn't skip meals, but that's okay.
