🔒 Alyshia's POV 🔒

Its today. The match is today and I'm kind of scared also nervous. A couple days ago, I got a threat from Jin and it was a photo of dad. I don't know why he did that, but he better be willing to give me dad and Alex if I win.

I will win.

"You're 22 minutes early, go back." One of the guards said to me and I just laughed.

"No." That's when I started my fighting. I kicked him and was held back by the other guard so I had to climb over the wall to flip the guard holding me back and I just punched the guy who I previously spoke to.

"Impressive." A voice complimented from above and claps could be heard. I looked up and all around the top floor, where around 80 men dressed in black surrounding the whole entire floor.

Jin walked down the stairs towards me.

"Did you just test me? That's unfair! I'm tired and you aren't!"

"Then surrender and marry me." That shut me up. It seems he's so desperate for some reasons, although I still can't.

"No." I punched Jin and he somewhat fell onto the floor? It's like he's just acting because that punch was literally nothing.

"If you're going to punch me, punch me. But remember, if we get married because you've defeated me, I'm going to have scars on my face and everyone is going to think you abused me. Also, because I'm marrying you and I lost, that doesn't mean I truly love you." He stopped and looked at me.

"Stop... Please... Just... Just stop..." Maybe I can make Jin stop everything like Woobin.

Woobin was part of this gang. Part of the gang that captured my brother and father. I convinced him to leave because trust me, he's a good person no matter how much he's hurt me; he didn't belong in that group.

Neither does Jin. Once he's motivated to do something, he is capable to stick with it. It's just his mind is supporting bad influences.

"Jin we can be friends. The best of friends, just please let my brother and father go." We made this long and awkward eye contact that I didn't really like, but hopefully it'll work on Jin.

"Can't we be more than just friends?" He looked at me sympathetically. I could see all the pain he's gone through because I never accepted his love.

"Jin we can be the best of friends. Closer than any other friend out there! Don't keep this up Jin..." Jin somewhat fell to the ground and sounded like he was crying.

"Let the two go! And everyone get out! I want to be alone!" I think this is the first time I've seen him like this.

"I'm sorry Jin. Since we've known each other for more than 10 years, it's obvious you know who I love." Most of the people I've known for that long knows who and how much I love that person.

"Just... Let me be please." I pat him on the back and left. Outside, was dad and Alex. It's been 14 years since I've seen him and he's so tall.

"Alex..." I started to cry when we both hugged. 

"I'm sorry you had to wait this long for you to finally come out." 

"It's okay." 

"Let's go and see mu-" Before I could finish I just remembered something. Mum lost her life and left us already...

"What's wrong Alyshia?"

"Mum's long gone..." Alex started crying and so did dad, even though he already knew.

"Dad I have so much to tell you! And for sure, you have a lot to tell me." We need to talk about that disease I had that we also got and why he left and why he never came back and why he faked his address and why he was never there for us when we needed him most.

"I'm sorry Alyshia." We got back at the apartment I was staying in. Alex had gone to buy food while dad and I spoke in private.

"I had survived that thing you had. Because I survived, being your doctor I had to save you too."

"What even happened dad?"

"I was killed. Yes, although catching that disease healed my wounds. Hyun Jae had beaten me up to death and they dumped me into the water. A couple days later, I woke up at shore coughing and everything but no wounds. A couple weeks after that I had realised that I was coughing because it was a disease so I tried to get rid of the disease and that's when I became a doctor."

"Why did you never come back to us dad..."

"I was too scared. If they knew I was still alive and back with you guys, they'd come after you as well. Your mother was already in her 2nd stage of cancer and it has already been too late to go back, so I had to leave so you guys could be safe. Little did I know that you fell in love with someone but left them to train and get Alex back." 

"Dad I don't really understand what's going on..."

"It doesn't matter anymore. What's the past is now history. Let's look forward to the future." If he had known I fell in love with someone...

"What are you talking about dad?"

"It's Baekhyun isn't it?"

"How did..."

"When you first woke up with amnesia, he's the first person you spoke about. Even with amnesia your feelings for him are like that."

"Dad... I don't think..."

"You need to keep that Promise." There's still 27 days left before I go back to meet them. I'm not sure if I'm ready to become an adult with responsibilities...
