My secretary knocked and opened the door.

“Miss E I just want to remind you that you have a meeting today with the board of directors and at 4pm you’ll have a photoshoot for Forever 21 and you’ll have a dinner at 7pm with Mr.Fernandez.”

“Okay thanks Amy.”

And she went out of the office.

I signed some papers and now I’m gonna check the new designs.

My phone rang.

Dominic Calling...

“Yes hello?.. Oh babe, yes I won’t forget.. Dinner later at 7.. Yes babe, bye.. Uh, love you too.. Okay.”

I sighed.

That’s Dom. He’s my boyfriend. He courted me for almost 2 years. Pinoy din siya. Nag-migrate lang ang family niya dito sa Canada.

When I got tired checking and looking on some designs, I opened my e-mail. And there I saw my bestfriend’s message.

My goodness. Kailangan talaga all caps? At love pa ang complementary close niya ah.

Wala talagang kupas sa kalokohan ang bestfriend ko.

Oo 5 years na ang nakakalipas mula nung umalis ako ng Pilipinas. Mula nun hindi ko na ulit nakita ang barkada. Except him.. 3 years ago I know, I’m sure it was him. He even went here for Mich and not for me.

7PM came.

Nag-ring ang phone ng opisina ko.

“Miss E. Mr.Fernandez is already here.”

“Okay. Let him come in.”

At di nagtagal pumasok na nga si Dom.

I stood up and went near him. We gave each other a peck on the lips.

“You ready for dinner babe?” he asked

“Yup. Let me just fix my files first. Is that okay?”

“Of course. Let me help you.” he smiled

My boyfriend is a model too, like me. And at his young age he is already a board of director in one of the best selling clothing brand here in Canada. He is also a part of this company.

Me? I manage a boutique called “E’s closet” of course named after me, E stands for Ella. Actually, Dom helped me to build this business.

Spoiled ako dun eh. Nasabi ko lang na gusto ko magtayo ng business, okay agad sa kanya. At minsan naman pag may free time kami nagmomodel din kami for different brands like GAP, Guess, Candies and many more.

Dumating kami sa restaurant at hinatid kami ng isnag staff sa table na pina-reserve ni Dom. Umorder kami at kumain.
