chapter two- part two: apologies
Dove walked with Tatum to school the next day, both completely oblivious of what happened the night before, well one was oblivious and the other was lying.
„did you hear?" Sidney asked as she approached the two.
„no, hear what" Dove lied. The police were still at the school due to Casey and Steve's murder, but since Linda and Carson's it had now doubled.
„Linda and Carson Cooper we're murdered last night, and then hung from their stair case" Sidney told them, Tatum breathed in out of shock and Dove had to try and cover up the smile she was started to grow.
When she left the boys at the house that night for them to set up the bodies she wasn't told really what they were doing, now she knew.
„lady's" Stu shouted throwing his arm around Tatum and Dove as he and billy walked over to their lockers.
Sidney smiled awkwardly to Billy not knowing what to do with her 'boyfriend', this confused Dove as she knew billy didn't really like her but didn't know why she didn't like him.
„don't act like that, two people got killed last night. it's spooky" Tatum shivered.
Dove laughed a little „like a horror film" she nudged her sister, the girl pushed her annoyed by her under reacting „oh come on Tate, you hated Linda and Carson. Why let their death bother you?"
Billy gave her a glare to calm down and not blow their cover, but dove just rolled her eyes to him.
„you are so cold hearted it scares me" Tatum scoffed walking away pushing her shoulder and taking Sidney with her.
„tate don't be dramatic, it's not like i'd kill you" Dove threw her arms out to her sister as she walked away.
„maybe you're the killer" Randy said startling the three, they all turned in sync looking to him.
„maybe i am, if you get a knock at your door tonight- expect me with a knife" Dove spat back walking past him now pushing his shoulder.
She walked through the halls, dove didn't care about what Tatum said nor how she upset her.
But knew that it would be expected of her to apologise, and she didn't want to be caught.
„tate" she whispered walking into the girls bathroom seeing her and Sidney in there alone.
Tatum looked to her before folding her arms and looking away, Sid looked between the girls.
„i'm gonna go to class" she mumbled smiling to dove before leaving.
Dove walked over standing next to her facing the mirror „i didn't mean what i said, i guess i'm just trying to make jokes out of the situation instead of excepting the fact i am shit scared right now" she laughed a little.
Tatum looked to her in sorrow before bringing her into a strong hug „it's okay, i am too" she said into her sisters hair.
The unknown killer nodded smirking over her sisters shoulder, all she needed out of this encounter was to know that Tatum didn't think she could be the killer, and she got that.
„okay anyways i've got a english so i'm going to go and not get killed, hopefully" she smiled pulling away.
They smiled to each other as Dove walked out leaving Tatum alone in the bathroom, she turned the corner not helping but letting her smirk show as she saw Billy and Stu at their lockers.
„my boy's" she smiled wrapping her arms around their shoulders as she stood behind them at their lockers.
„correction, your boy and stu" Billy smirked looking around before kissing her cheek as she laughed.
Stu slammed his locker shut making the two glare at him in confusion „maybe we shouldn't-" he paused looking around, Stu brought his hand up to his neck fake slitting it „Tatum"
Dove laughed „why?" she shrugged removing her arm from his shoulder now leaning her weight on Billy.
„because i like having a girlfriend" the boy cried, billy and dove looked to him laughing quietly „shut up" Stu said slumping against his locker.
„come on you big baby" Dove laughed pushing him in the direction to their class.
