chapter two: accusations
The group sat at their regular spot for their lunch, the fountains on the schools ground.
Sydney sat on the end leaning against billy who was sat up next Dove, she sat with her legs crossed next to Stu. Tatum and randy in their other side.
„what did they ask you two?" Tatum turned to her two female friends leaning her head against her boyfriends chest.
„they asked if i knew her" Sydney replied not looking up from her lunch bag.
Stu turned frowning looking to Billy „did they as you if you liked to hunt?" He asked.
„yeah they did" he replied.
Dove looked up from her fright bag „they asked me too" she raised her brows looking to stu.
The boy smirked to her eyeing her up and down „really?" he looked from the girl glancing over her shoulder to Billy, from behind her and the Prescott girl he raised a brow nodding to Stu.
„yeah, then i shouted at them" she sighed „i'm probably a suspect" she shrugged not really caring.
„who cares, doll" Billy nodded to her, as they kept eye contact for a while ignoring the Prescott girl beside him.
„bullshit" Randy spoke up „dove couldn't have done this, it takes a man to do gut someone"
„that is so sexist" Tatum argued looking to him disgusted.
„how bout i gut you right now, huh? would that make me a man?" Dove tilted her head to the boy who then looked to her sort of scared.
„how do you gut someone?" Sydney stuttered picking at her nails, she shuddered as she spoke.
The group fell silent looking to her before Stu spoke up „You take a knife" he started holding up a fake to Dove „and you slit 'em from the groin to sternum" he explained showing it on the brunette girl who sat back letting him.
„hey, it's called tact you fuck rag" Billy leaned over smacking his shoulder making the girl in between them giggle.
Randy leaned over Tatum to see Stu who recently just sat back „hey, Stu, didn't you used to date Casey?"
„Yeah, for like two seconds" Stu laughed.
„Before she dumped you for Steve" Dove laughed to herself eating a grape.
„thought you dumped her for me" Tatum spoke with a little sadness in her tone.
Stu turned to dove flicking her stomach „I did. she's just jealous" he faked kissed her cheek turning back to Tatum.
„ha okay" The girl laughed.
Randy rubbed his chin „and are the police aware that you dated the victim?"
„hey, what're you saying?" Stu sat up turning to him „That--That--That I killed her?" he pointed to himself.
„It would certainly improve your high school Q" he rolled his eyes.
„Stu was with me last night, okay?" Tatum kissed his cheek, both of them giving randy a look.
„and nobody said you did" Billy reassured them both.
„thanks buddy" he smiled looking to his friend.
