Namjoon's PoV
I went back to the kitchen to put the cups. While coming back to the room, i heard Si-Young & Tae talking.

Tae : ....so, i mean how are you two THIS different? Like, you both had same parents but why she is so inclined to this Indian religion & other stuffs and not you?

Si-Young : umm... actually, after mom's death, she started to act more like her. Like you know, that "Yaa rabba, what's wrong with you!", that was so so so typical of mom. Unnie even started watching shows/movies mom used to watch. You won't believe, she even found a gurudwara here, in Korea! Everytime there's something good or bad happening in her life, whatever...she visits the place. She finds some inner peace there. She even offer sewa----

Tae : Hey...wait! What's a gurudwara?

Si-Young : oh...umm... Ok so, a Gurdwara is the place where people following the Sikh religion come together for congregational worship. ... The literal meaning of Gurdwara is 'the residence of the Guru', or 'the door that leads to the Guru'. In a modern Gurdwara, the Guru is not a person but the book of Sikh scriptures called the Guru Granth Sahib. Guru means, a teacher or an idol.

Tae : and sewa?

Si-Young : sewa, means selfless voluntary service. Different tasks, like cooking & serving food, serving water, cleaning the premises, cleaning utensils and many more. People voluntarily come forward to give services at gurudwara. Main motto, or reason behind is to help, selfless help.

Tae : wow. That's so impressive! You ever did?

Si-Young : umm...no. i am not so much inclined towards mom's religious beliefs. But unnie is. She gives service there. She feels peace being there. Even i have visited once or twice with her, the place is ACTUALLY very peaceful.

Tae : ok. And if you don't mind, what happened to your parents? And how did you two got Do-Hyun?

Si-Young : oh no worries. Actually, car accidents. Two car accidents changed our lives.

The first one took place when were like, unnie being 16 & i was 13. Our parents died in an accident. Unnie used to do 4-5 jobs at a time to finance our living & education. But it wasn't easy. People used to try take advantage of her. Even at many work places, she was harassed. Not physically, but mentally. Vulgar & cheap comments, those unusual touches. She was bearing this all for me. Even she learnt Indian cuisines for me, as i missed mom's food.

Tae : i-i am sorry...

Si-Young : Don't be. I'm fine. All that was in the past, i know now my unnie is safe and happy.

You feel this because you don't know what happened today. *Sighs*

Tae : second car accident?

Si-Young : ohh, the one where unnie's bestfriend died. Somehow, Do-Hyun survived. She was just 6 months then. Unnie adopted her.

But it wasn't easy either. People started making all sorts of assumptions about where Do-Hyun came from. Unnie was even called whore, slut, golddigger.... what not. But she never gave up.

She always cared & protected Do-Hyun more than one could do for her own child. We moved to Seoul, here unnie started her own business. Settled well, raised me as well as Do-Hyun so well.

Tae : omg bhabhi is a rockstar----

God! What blunder i did. It was totally my fault. I shouldn't have left her alone there. She has already gone through so much in life. And today, because of me, her fears are back to her.
