Aarya's PoV
It was a hectic day. Its already 8pm. I guess, he must be busy too. Else, he would have already left for home.
Shrugging off the thoughts, i took my keys and left for home.
I was just a minute away from his office when my phone rang, without taking my eyes off road, i answered the call.
"Umm...i know it's late, but in any case, could you pick----"
Namjoon's PoV
Before i could even complete. She said.
"I'm outside your office. Come down soon."
I don't why, i was way too happy. I literally jumped off my chair and went down, precisely ran down.
How could you make me feel like a teenage lover, damn, just how?
I halted my steps before the gate, took a deep breath, controlled myself. And with a calm posture, walked out.
I sat in the car. We drove off.
Aarya's PoV
"Follow the directions, please." Saying this, he entered a destination on the GPS.
I followed the directions. The drive was silent. So silent, that i could listen even his breathing.
After a 10-15 min drive, we reached the destination.
I gasped at the beauty in front of my eyes. A lake. The lake was as silver as diamond flame and the atmosphere was convent quiet. Even the depths were vodka clear. It was soothing and yogi still. Freckled trout were leaping for flies and thunking on its surface. The scene was so glorious that I had a lightning bolt moment. The damp grass smelled utopian.
His cold fingers inter twining mine broke my chain of thoughts. He slowly dragged me to a bench. We sat there in utter silence until he spoke, and i decieded to listen without interrupting.
"Me and Hong Ju, were dating during college days. We had been in a relationship for a year and half. At that time, my dad wasn't that rich. Just an ordinary, common businessman. One day i was in the library and heard some noises. I walked in the direction, and saw Hong Ju making out with someone else. And that someone was the son of one of the biggest businessman. That was the last i believed in love, infact true love. From that day, nothing of that sort existed for me."
He poured his heart out.
I took a deep breath, and decieded to do the same.
"As others, i too had some flings during college time. But during the initial days of my company start up, i was dating a guy, Kim Sung-Ho. We were in a serious relationship. I liked him, he was all head over heels for me. But the day i told him about Do-Hyun, that i have a child, he abruptly left."
He didn't uttered a word for a few seconds. Then he spoke.
"Maybe i sound selfish, but am glad he left, because of which i have Do-Hyun........and you."
"Maybe am glad too."
We sat there for a while, and then left for home.
I had no doubts, no confusions, no qwestions left anymore.
