Author's PoV
The next day when Do-Hyun returned, as she spent the previous day at her grandparents', she ran through the house searching and shouting for Aarya.
Namjoon came downstairs, went to her, took her in his arms and sat on the couch with her in his lap.
Namjoon - "Baby angel, you trust me, right?"
Do-Hyun - "yes daddy.....but where's mummaa?"
Namjoon - "she is at your old house"
Do-Hyun - "but why did she go. Did she left us? Did you two fight?"
Do-Hyun asked innocently, and Namjoon gulped the lump formed in his throat before speaking again.
Namjoon - "no no, angel. She is there just for a couple of days. Ok tell me what do you do when you have exams?"
Do-Hyun - "i lock myself in room to study so that no one could disturb."
Namjoon - " exactly. Mumma is doing same too. She has to prepare an important project, and i was disturbing her, so she went there for a couple of days."
After this he took her to her room, and made her ready for school. He hated to lie to his daughter, and the fact that he has no other option makes him even more disgusted about himself.
*Time skip to night: Aarya standing in her balcony and talking to moon; Namjoon doing the same at his place, just like parallels*
Aarya : Did you really mean that?
Namjoon : Please just trust me, I'll fix this all.
Aarya : do you even miss me, or i am the only fool?
Namjoon : i can go days without talking you and seeing you, but not a second passes by that i don't think about you.
Aarya : hope you are taking care of our Do-Hyun.
Namjoon : don't worry, am taking well care of Do-Hyun. I make her eat on time, complete her homework too. But.... but am not capable of handling our family, our house, as good as you do. Every corner of the house is missing your presence.
Namjoon : before only me and Tae lived here and then you all came here too. Even though, Si-Young & Do-Hyun are still here, the place suddenly feels strange. I miss you.
Aarya : i miss those happy days when you and i would fight and argue and Do-Hyun scolds ys like we are some small kids. Why? Why did you do that?
*Next day, in afternoon*
Si-Young : Heyy Tae, i was a little busy today so i had asked unnie to pick up Do-Hyun after school.
Tae : wait? What-- why? Wasn't it my turn today?
Si-Young : no. I clearly remember, its my turn today. Why what happened?
Tae : fvck. I thought it was my turn today. Dad had sent me to get an important file for him so i called Hyung to pick Do-Hyun.
*📍Do-hyuns's school*
Aarya's PoV
I was already there pick Do-Hyun. I was waiting for her to come out. Soon she came. I went towards her and grabbed her hands in mine.
As soon as i started to walk, i could sense a force pulling in other direction, i turned my face to see him standing there, holding her hand too.
Namjoon.
"I'll head to office, mumma will drop you home, ok baby?" He said while letting go off her hand softly.
"Noooo. I'm hungry. Let's go for lunch" Do-Hyun whined.
