"No." Romano moaned, he looked up at you pain apparent on his face, but his eyes showed guilt. He knew it was his fault for being too oblivious and now because of him you would go with Taiwan willingly. "Please. No, (Y/n)..."
"I'll never run, I'll never try to escape. Just let me heal him. And you and I will be together. Forever, just like you want." Taiwan looked a bit reluctant, looking to the struggling Romano and back to you. "Everything will be the way it was. I promise. Just like you want. Just let me heal him."
She stayed silent, but then sighed. She slowly took of one of your cuffs and you rubbed your hand from the pain, noticing the cuts that began to form on your wrists. She hooked the bonds back onto the floor and hooked the one cuff she took off onto Romano. He didn't struggle. He didn't have enough energy to do so. She did the same thing with your other cuff and now Romano was cuffed to where you were. "In case you get any ideas about following us."
"Romano!" You dropped down hugging him, since he was now lying on his back. He grunted in pain and you pulled back quickly. "Oh, I'm so sorry. Everything is going to okay, in a moment.
"No, (Y/n)!..."You carefully wrapped your hair around his torso.
"I promise, you have to trust me." You finished, but he grabbed your hands.
"No... I can't let you do this." He grunted, trying to stop you.
"But I can't let you die." You choked out. Your plan had backfired, how were you going to save Romano and help Taiwan?
"But if you do this-"
"Shhh!"
"-then you...will die." Tears began to prick in his eyes and you couldn't help, but feel sorry.
"Hey. It's gonna be all right." You brushed some of his hair out of his face.
"(Y/n), wait..." He struggled to lean forward, towards you.
"Romano, what-?" His hand came forward with the shard of glass slicing through your hair. Your gold hair turned into your original shade of hair, (h/c).
"NOOO!" Taiwan shrieked. "No...NO! What have you done?!"
"But Taiwan-"
"What?!"
"You aren't changing." Taiwan examined herself over.
"B-but how?" She gasped.
"My fratello's friend said he was willing to aid your country..." Romano grunted.
"How did-"
"I didn't realize you were the one torturing (Y/n) though..." She stood straight, but looked like she was going to break down.
"I... I'm so sorry... for what I did to the both of you... But now..." She looked to the old exit. "I need to thank my brother..."
She fled away, down the stairs and that was probably the last time you would ever see her again. Your attention returned to Romano when you heard him cough in pain.
"No, no, no, no, Romano! Oh, look at me, look I'm right here! Don't go, stay with me, Romano!" His eyelids slowly began to close and you could feel his heartbeat slow down. You held your hair up against his chest and chanted. "Flower gleam and glow, let your powers shine. Make the clock reverse, bring back what once was mine."
"(Y/n)...." You heard him murmur against your head.
"What?" You felt tears begin to prick your eyes.
"You were my new dream." His voice was the softest you have ever heard it and every word he said sounded so important and true.
"And you were mine." You clutched his hand, while his breathing slowed down. You felt fear begin to wrack your body. You were wrong! This isn't a dream or a fairytale! This was real and- and-. "Heal what has been hurt. Change the fates design. Save what has been lost. Bring back what once was mine.
"What once was mine..." His breath stopped and you couldn't hold back the tears. You buried your head into his chest and cried, quiet sobs wracking your body. You lied there, against him for a long time. Until, you heard a gruff voice.
"(Y/n)?..."
"Romano!" You hugged him tightly, crying harder out of joy. He hugged you back, just as hard.
"Did I ever tell you, I've got a thing for (h/c)?" You pulled away to look into his bright amber eyes and his smiling face. You did the one thing that was on your mind. You pressed your lips against his hard, but once he realized the situation he kissed back just as hard. Both your eyelids closed and everything felt like you were in a dream.

"(Y/n)? (Y/n)! (Y/n) wake up!" You shot up straight in your chair and met the curious look of Danielle.
"Dude, you alright? You've been asleep for a couple hours." Your eyes shot around the room and you gasped.
"Wait, did we ever leave?!" Danielle gave you a crooked grin.
"Nope, we were sitting at this table for like three hours. I finished a novel in that time!" Danielle cheered, while you on the other hand choked. It really had been all a dream... "Anyway, I got a text from my dad, saying I have to get back home. I'll let you take your time waking up."
"Alright..." She flashed you a smile and began walking away with a book in her hands. You looked at the book that sat in front of you, the page was on the last sentence of the Rapunzel story and you slowly slid the book close. You stood up, shaking and began to walk to the entrance of the library. Danielle had just checked out her book and ran to your side.
"Ready to go?" You nodded and she ran ahead of you, to her car. The wind outside, blew against your confused form, but you shrugged it off, continuing to walk. You were crossing the cross walk, when you heard the screeching of tires. You decided to ignore that as well, but once you made it across, a hand grabbed your shoulder and turned you to face the figure.
"What the he-" You stopped midsentence, when you saw who it was. Romano stood before you and you knew it was him, because of the curl that swayed from the wind slightly. "R-Romano?!"
"You remembered!" He hugged you to him.
"How- how are you here?!" He pulled away from you.
"After we kissed I woke up here and a voice told me you would be here." You smiled and hugged him again.
"I thought it was all a dream..."
"... It must have been your new dream..."
