Crawling through the empty lair Barry couldn't help but hold his breath as he hid behind the mini fridge. Something had come in. And hearing the fleeting sounds of footsteps, he could only assume whatever wandered in wasn't good. Barry pulled out his phone and double checked it was on silent. Sliding it on the floor next to him he took a photo of what it was, sliding it back over and checking the image.
He froze in alarm. It was one of Felix's cronies, Brandon. Covered in blood. Pinching his fingers over his phone and zooming in on the image he couldn't help but feel like something was off. While yes it wasn't the first time Felix had tried to scare the school into giving him control by acting like...wait no this was completely different. The dormant look in Brandon's eyes and the sound of violent twitching was enough for Barry to conclude that this wasn't just another one of Wolfe's plans to take over the school.
This was something supernatural and out of their control. Well, that's what he concluded anyway. Thuds began inclosing in, the sound of a limp and dragging was all Barry could currently deduce. Meaning he had a somewhat advantage. Only if he could distract Brandon so he could sneak out the door and try and find Ed. Especially since a meeting was already planned, so it was his best bet. He reached around in his pockets pulling out his house keys. Having a feeling he wasn't gonna head home anytime soon, he held the keys tightly in grasp...
No. He couldn't just chuck his keys away considering how valuable they were. He held the rigid part of the keys and unconnected a few of his keyrings, making sure that the soft cat keychain Stacy gifted him a few weeks ago was securely in his hand. Tossing the keyrings quite far away from him he immediately heard the snarling and limped footsteps go over there. Barry collecting necessary information that he would need for later.
Quickly he heads towards the door and slips out without being noticed. Immediately he checked from left to right noting that the area was clear. However, considering Brandon's state he thought that there may be more waiting for him if he was to actually left for the hallways.
Quietly he shuffled against the wall spotting the drama stage curtains and planning to hide there for a while. Hearing the door to the lair slam shut he panicked. Banging. The door banged furiously... could Brandon not open the door? Barry questioned but decided not to take a risk as the now active Brandon began screeching loudly. And since he knew sound attracted Brandon, what's stopping it from acttracting more?
With the sound of screeches, he felt confident enough walking briskly over to the curtain and wrapping it around himself double checking that he was covered then got his phone back out. Getting out the notes app he began quickly typing what he found out so far. While it wasn't a lot it will be helpful to remember or to inform others. Which is what his next step was.
Sending a few messages to Ed containing the information he had gathered and where he was...he wished Ed the best of luck and to text him any information he gets. A look of relief washed over him as he saw that Ed had read the message and also told him where he was. Of course, the janitors closet. Making it his mission to meet up with Ed again or wait for rescue. Hearing more few and far footsteps approaching.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-"
"JUSTIN STOP SCREAMING!"
"HOW ABOUT YOU TRY HAVING FLESH EATING MONSTERS ON YOUR TAIL!"
Justin was panicking immensely as the casual gym clash quickly turned into a marathon run with most of the class having being bitten by something and now the cronies were sprinting for their lives. Justin kept looking over his shoulder shrieking in fear as he noticed they were getting quicker and quicker and his legs were getting more and more tired by the minute.
James on the other hand was holding onto a javelin tightly getting ready to use it as a spear to get the crowd away from Justin. While Louis was trying to keep up with Cody, who was being the strong tall guy he was by creating a pathway of the school grounds in order to make it easier for him to lead the cronies to some form of safety.
