We've been running for about four hours now, well not me per se. After the first hour of none stop running Hisoka made me get on his back so he could carry me. I usually could run for about six hours without breaking a sweat. I had started to lag behind and that's why I'm now on Hisoka's back.

"This pregnancy has me tired and I'm only five weeks. Who knows how the rest of this shit is gonna go." I whined and buried my face into his shoulder, and he chuckled at my whiney behavior.

"It'll be fine Ivy-chan. It's all worth it in the end."

"I hope you're right. I'm gonna be so mad if they come out looking identical to you if I'm the one that carried them for nine damn months."

*Le Skip*

A couple of hours have passed and I feel completely energized but I know Hisoka isn't gonna put me down anytime soon so I'm just gonna enjoy my ride and his unique scent that keeps me relaxed. we then. We soon reach the largest staircase I've ever seen in my life and Hisoka just starts hiking up the stairs as if he can see where they end. After a bit, Satoz looks back and starts to go faster up, like 5 steps at a time.

Oh my god, this dude is insane. I'm actually happy you're carrying me for once. I absolutely loath stairs." I mumble quietly and hear Hisoka AND Illumi chuckle at me. We soon see a bright light.

"Well then, let's see how many applicants have made it this far," Satoz says.

Two little kids no older than 12 runs past everyone. We then get to the top of the stairs and Hisoka lets me down I stretch and wiggle my legs because it's been some hours since I haven't had to use them. Hisoka comes to my side and whispers in my ear, "Darling I want you to run ahead with Illumi. I have some business to take care of."

I scoff, "You mean people to kill."

"You know me so well my love." He chuckles and kisses me on the cheek.

"Yeah, yeah, I'll run ahead. Make sure you don't get disqualified."

"I won't. I promise."

"Good." I look around us and see that everyone is out of breath except for a select few. The fog soon starts to thin out some and we're in a marshy swamp. Satoz starts to explain that our current location is called The Swindlers Swamp and it is home to many dangerous creatures that can use deception instead of just outright attacking you. "We must pass through here to get to Phase 2 of the Hunter Exam."

The gate then starts to close from behind us as a guy tries to crawl his way through. Before he can make it though, the door closes completely failing everyone left behind it and telling everyone ahead that there's no turning back. I lightly giggle at the man's pathetic attempt. Satoz then continues his explanation, "Please follow me closely and be very careful. For if you are deceived you will surely die."

"Don't fall for it! Don't let them fool you!" Yells a voice from behind and everyone turns in the direction. A 'man' comes from around the corner of the cement outlining the closed gate. He then continues, "He's lying. That man is lying to you! He's an imposter. I'm the real examiner!" I call bullshit.

'These idiots actually believe this thing.' I think and facepalm as I hear a gasp among the crowd, and I hear Hisoka chuckle beside me.

"I'll prove it. Look at this!" the false examiner then pulls a creature that looks like Satoz, from behind him. This is such bullshit.

I turn around and bury my face in Hisoka's chest, pat my head, and wrap his other around me to comfort me as the idiocy from the others around, bothers me to no end. So to save myself the pain I start to ignore everything around me. After standing there for 5 minutes and everyone else still trying to figure out who the real examiner is, I mumble into his chest, "Kill it, I'm tired of standing here and doing nothing." He gives me one final pat on my head and lets me go, pulls his cards from his pocket, infusing them with nen and throwing cards at both suspects.
