ATL, 9:00pm
The night was cool, yet still warm. I took a deep breath feeling as my curls slightly blew in crisp air. I picked up my dress and continued to walk through the back of a building as a team of people in black rushed behind me. "Siren, you go on in 15 minutes!" "Mrs. Siren I moved your magazine shoot with Vogue to next Tuesday so you can attend the VMAs. We have the outfit u picked out." "Siren should I cancel the interview for ET for your music video shoot?"
The list of questions went off like a bell in my ears, praying it would stop. I could only rub my temples. "Can we talk about this after the performance please? I need a minute guys." I say as the tech team adjusted my ear piece. I could hear the crowd in the audience, chanting my name. I'm tired of it. Making music isn't as fun as it used to be. Before I had a moment of piece, I feel a hand on my shoulder. "Your gonna do great kid. I know it! Once your down with this we gotta head back home to get you ready for your next performance and appearance for the BET Music Awards." I could only respond with "yea" or "uh huh" as I was hoping my manager would stop talking. "We're ready for you Siren. we're back on air in 2 minutes." The tech team member said leading me to the platform on the stage. I smoothed my dress and took a couple deep breaths.

The platform rose as the piano and percussion swelled. I sweetly gripped the mic and began to vocally serenade the audience. I could feel the hot stage lights puncture my skin, the loud 808 blasting my ears; I was ready for this to be over with.
