Met you on the other side (Merman AU) Pt. 2

Mondo's POV (it's the weekend btw)

I was collecting shells and saying my goodbyes to all the Mermaids and Mermen, I wasn't really sad since I kinda hated being a merman but I will miss everyone even though I wasn't really liked around here but my brother Daiya was turned into a human 3 or 4 years ago, I really miss him but today I might get the chance to see him again, when I was ready to go I went to the queen and bowed.

"your majesty I am ready to leave."

The queen got up from her throne and swam towards me with her staff in hand.

"Alright let's go to the beach!"

"Alright." I sat up straight and we both started swimming towards the beach.

Taka's POV

I just finished cooking a meal for Mondo and I also finished cleaning the guest room an hour ago, since it was just as hot as it was yesterday I decided to go to the beach early to get Mondo so I have some time to swim.

~20 minutes later~

I finally made it to the beach, as soon as I got there I walked to the other side and decided to start swimming after putting on sunscreen. After I put my sunscreen on I immediately started swimming around, the water felt amazing on my skin. There wasn't too many people on the beach as there was yesterday, I was curious on why.

~3 hours later~

"It's been a while..I'd expect him to be here by now.."

Suddenly I heard loud splashing, I figured it would just be the splashing from the other side but I looked up and there I saw Mondo and his queen swimming towards me.

"Hey Taka!"

"Hey Mondo! How are you?"

"I'm good, How about you?"

"I'm doing okay."

I knelt down at the presents of the queen.

"Hello your majesty."

"Hello there, your name is Taka correct?"

"No sorry your majesty it isn't, that's just a nickname but my actual name is Kiyotaka Ishimaru."

"Oh alright, well Mondo are you ready?"

"Yeah!"

"Alright here eat this."

The queen held up what I'm guessing is some type of weird kelp or moss.

Mondo's POV

When the queen held up the kelp or moss I slowly grabbed the moss or whatever it was and put it into my mouth, when I swallowed it I felt different it was a gross feeling in my stomach but I didn't worry about it at the moment.

"Alright Mondo just take off your jewelry and you'll be a human." Said the queen with her hand out.

I started taking all of my pearls and Gemstone necklaces and bracelets off, after I took all of them off I put them in the queen's hand. Right after I took them off I felt very odd I looked down and my tail was gone, I had human legs but my scales were still there. My gills had also disappeared, I was so happy to finally get out of the water as a human. I tried to walk out of the water but I fell, I heard Taka let out a little laugh.
