Now Pinkie knew Twilight couldn't tell anyone about this predicament, and Pinkie couldn't tell Flash and if she told anyone, they couldn't tell anyone. That meant she was still within her rights to tell Rainbow Dash, Flash's sister. When Rainbow found out, she was extremely worried and the two ponies planned whether they could get a kiss by tomorrow. Today was the second day, and they were running out of time. Twilight and Flash had become extremely close and flew together. When the two side by side sat on a canoe together floating down a cloud river, Pinkie and Rainbow implemented their plan.

For the entirety of the song, Twilight and Flash talked together and enjoyed each other's company, ocasionally staring lovingly into each others eyes. Flash was torn between Twilight and the one who had saved him, but decided Twilight was more real. He had been afraid to take the leap and kiss her, afraid she would be scared off, but inspired by the song, he leaned in and there lips were about touch, and then Snips and Snails, using the same spell Pinkie had, knocked over the boat, sending both Twilight and Flash tumbling out. Twilight and Flash spent so much time together, but the filly was terrified she was about to lose him. She sat sadly in her room hoping things would change.
