A loud slam echoed through the corridor as Félix left the library. He almost crushed Natalie as she was just approaching the door.

"Sorry." he muttered and without looking back, he rushed away.

Holding his papers which - thanks to Marinette's encounter at the library - weren't finished at all, he went straight to his room.

"Hopefully, no one will bother me there." he thought, letting out an annoyed sigh.

How could he have thought on the ball that Marinette had changed?! She was exactly like how he had remembered. Irritating, childish, and loud! He couldn't even hear his thoughts because of her!

And if there was something he hated was when someone disturbed him during his work.

How naive of him was to think he could get a peaceful atmosphere in a library under the same roof as her?!

At least, he learned his lesson. He would never go to that place ever again!

"I guess, I'm gonna live my whole life in my room." he sighed but then he realized something.

His room was next to Marinette's!

"ARGHH!!" The sudden realization caused him to hit his face to the wall the moment he stepped into his room.

"Someone is having a bad day?" the tiny cheese-lover asked - as usual with camembert in his paws.

Félix murmured something and threw the papers on his desk. Some of them, however, slid through the table and fell onto the floor.

"Seriously??!" he whined.

Plagg watched his owner gathering the papers and how he with a definite gesture - placed them back.

"Kid, what happened?" he asked curiously. "Not that I'm not enjoying your little outburst" he paused only to see Félix's irritating glance at him ".. but what happened? You're usually so calm and so blank, sometimes I'm even wondering if you're capable of being anything else but serious."

"Very funny." Félix scoffed. "You really know how to make me feel better." he sat down at his desk and covered his face. "It was Marinette, again." he finally replied.

"Aww, I see love is in the air?" Plagg asked with a mischievous grin.

Not even bothering to reply - Félix looked at him with his "you are dead" gaze.

"Okay, okay, I get it." Plagg shrugged - flying to his owner. "What did she do this time?" he asked the way a little kid asks his parents for a bedtime story.

"Nothing specific. Just tried to get on my nerves by not letting me finish my work. And.. " he sighed ".. she succeeded." his right hand clenched into a fist. "I just can't believe how can someone be that annoying? I mean, I try to avoid her as much as I can, and I only talk to her if needed." he rolled his eyes." I think it's just entertaining for her. To get on my nerves. "

"Maybe. Or maybe she's doing it as a repay for your actions when you two were kids?" Plagg asked innocently.

Félix looked at him with disbelief in his eyes.

"What are you talking about?! There's no way she's still mad about it! We were kids! And I wasn't the only one making our life miserable!" he exclaimed.

Leaning back on his chair - he looked up to the ceiling. He was deep in his thoughts.

"Would she still be upset about their childhood fights? Has he hurt her that much with his words?"

He didn't know. They had hated each other since they were toddlers. And they both had got on each others' nerves so it had never been a one-sided thing at all.
