There were no more signs of the battle as Ladybug shouted her famous lines out.

"Miraculous Ladybug!"

Millions of tiny pink ladybugs flew around the Place des Vosges, purifying the whole park from the outcome of the fight - the cracked sidewalks, the destroyed grass, and the blood puddles around those men the monster made unconscious.. Or.. Even dead?

Ladybug and Chat Noir both watched tensely as the magic floated around them too. They knew Ladybug only had arrived at the battle scene when only one last man stood on his foot. There was a possibility that she couldn't save them even with her powers anymore.

But then an unexpected happened. Instead of regaining their consciousness or - in the worst case - remaining dead, - the moment Ladybug's magic reached them - they started to vanish in thin air.

Each of their pieces soon became dark - almost night black - dust as they vanished completely.

It was like they didn't exist in the first place at all.

The heroes stared at the ground with shocked eyes. At this point, they had already filled with so many unbearable emotions - main thanks to the adrenaline from the battle, the reuniting with each other, and the upcoming - probably super awkward - talk between them that they had no strength to process what had just happened in front of them. Getting to know about a new, stronger villain who seemed to be able to create monsters that were no match for the past akumatized villains - was more than enough for them.

It was already past midnight. The people of Paris had already been sleeping, only just a few candlelights were seen behind some windows. Looking at the city, everyone would think peace and harmony were around the streets. With no clouds in the sky, the Moon alongside the stars were lightening up the whole place - giving everything a shining, silvery tone. The River Seine was the most mesmerizing in these lightings - it was like it was made of silver and slowly, elegantly flooded through Paris.

Thanks to the night sky, even the rotting areas didn't seem so horrifying but beautiful in their own way. From above, they were just mysterious dark spots in the city - making it more entrancing.

Everything seemed perfect, calm, and in harmony.

On one of the buildings' rooftops - more precisely at the top of the Arc de Triumph - however, two heroes were standing in front of each other. The red-dressed was holding her arms tightly to cover her shaking while the other's gaze was constantly on the ground.

Tension and awkwardness surrounded them as the memories about that certain night - with or without their own will - kept replaying in their mind.

Finally, after gaining enough courage, Ladybug broke the silence between them.

"I really missed you ..I thought I lost you forever... I'd never even dared to hope that you would come back, Chat. I.." Ladybug stopped and looked into his greenish eyes. "I thought I'd never see you again. "

"Yeah.. I thought so too." Chat whispered with coldness in his voice and - breaking the eye contact between them - he shifted his gaze towards the city view. "If this is all that you wanted to tell me, then I better go." he added and grabbed his staff.

"No, wait!" Ladybug exclaimed and placed her hands on his shoulder to stop him. "I.. I don't want you to leave me again."

Looking back at Ladybug, Chat snorted in disbelief. "Tsk. Really?! You should have thought about it before you ended everything between us!" he shook his head and shoved Ladybug's hand from him. "We shouldn't have met tonight. It was a mistake," he whispered - the heroine could hear the pain in his voice.
