"So why didn't you come back to class yesterday?" Franny asks as we walk up to the entrance of the school.

"Oh Nana called" i shrug, I don't like lying to her but I just cant tell her, It would feel wrong.

"Oh really? how is she? I haven't been over in a while" she smiles at me. "oh shes the same" i laugh.

"Are you gonna come watch me?" she asks. Franny has cheer practice on Thursdays so she has to be here at 9am and because she is my ride to school I also have to be here at 9am, though i do not have a class until 11am I like to come and study in the grandstands.

"Yea go ahead Im gonna go and get something from my locker" i say waving her off. the halls are filled with students, all chattering and laughing. when i get to my locker I get out the books i need, Someone leans against the lockers beside me.

"What do you want?" I scoff.

"I see you got all the gum out" She snickers, Hailey, A rare breed of bitch she's mixed some gorilla and goblin.

"What are you seven? grow up" i roll my eyes. from behind her I see Nico and his group of friends walking this way. oh great.

"okay Hailey you can piss off now" I smile politely.

"no i don't think so" she nods, this bitch is a fucking weirdo, she will never ever stop trying to make life a living hell. Nico may not know me but he definitely knows Hailey, so i need her to get away from me.

"Hey Hail's" I hear his voice. I practically bury my head into my locker, hoping he somehow won't see me.

"Hey" Her voice changing instantly.

"Can I talk to Kingston real quick" My eyes widen when I hear him say my name, Just play stupid, I tell myself.

"why?" she scoffs. "Biology stuff" he answers.

I watch her walk away, she eyes me the entire time. if only she knew he on and off again boyfriend is screwing her coach. Maybe then she'd lay off of me.

"Hey" he says. My head turns back to him, He's quite tall so i have to tilt my head up slightly.

"Hi" I reply and turn back to my locker, i just stare at it. I don't know if he is intimidating me or if Im just freaked out that he actually knows my name.

"You have detention" he blurts. My head snaps towards him. "For what? With who?" I question. I really don't have time for detention.

"For missing biology, with Mr Scott"

"How would you know?" I scoff, for all I know he could be lying to me.

"Because I also have detention, I am also in Biology. With Mr Scott" he smiles sarcastically. I turn to my locker and take more books out. Oh shit, when I walked in on Nico and coach. That was during biology.

"What were you doing? You know. During biology?" he asks.

"What were you doing?" I say back to him, A lame response.

"I was getting some extra credit" He says, I roll my eyes.

"Now What were you doing?" he asks once again. Does he want me to admit to watching him or something? Because I did no such thing, it's was just bad timing.

"I don't remember" I say to him before slamming my locker closed. I begin to walk away but i can hear his foot steps close behind me.

"I know you saw us"

"I don't know what you are talking about" I shrug.

"I need to know that you didn't tell anyone" he says. Of course I didn't, this is fucking serious.

"Tell me what you want in return, whatever it is" He says, What?

"I don't need anything from you" I almost laugh.

"What do you want straight A's?" he questions. "I have that already"

"Popularity?" he questions. "Does not mean shit to me" I say honestly.

"Okay i'll let you tell people we kissed or something" he shrugs. "What why would I want that?" I actually let out a laugh this time.

"Is that all people ever want from you? Do you have nothing else to offer?" I roll my eyes.

"Okay, do you want me to start a rumour that you are good in bed?" He says and my eyes widen. I look around he is starting to draw some eyes.

"shut up" I shush him, I grab his wrist and pull him into an empty class room.

"What is wrong with you?" I question. "I just don't want you to tell anyone" He explains. He cannot be serious.

"Okay! how about this" I gesture to myself.

"I Promise that will not tell anyone that you are having sex with our coach" I smile sarcastically.

"Yeah thats cute, but how will I know that you wont tell anyone?" He crosses his arms over his chest.

"Its a promise Nico, you are going to have to trust me" I shrug. "Trust you? I barely know who you are?" he scoffs. That is true.

"We have been the same grade since like the start" my eyebrows stitch together. "And yet I only know your name" he looks down at me.

"I didn't tell anyone, and it will stay that way" I say honestly. He dosen't say anything, he just nods slightly, "Well then, I guess i'll see you around Kingston" He shoots my one last look before leaving the class room.

I let out a breath that I didn't I was holding. Nico knightly huh?

"Kingston" I hear from behind me as soon as I make my way back into the hallway. I turn to find Mr Scott.

"Ill see you this afternoon" He says. "Sir can I do it some other time I have stuff to do after school" I ask him.

"School should be your top priority" He says walking away, I want to strangle him..

I guess I will have to tell my Nana to tell my siblings that they'll have to start dinner for me, Pulling out my phone I shoot her a text and just hope that she knows how to use her phone.

Annoyed and a little flustered I make my way to the field, it is going to be a long day today.

"You good?" Franny comes up to me after practice.

"I have detention today, you can go ahead without me today" I huff, shoving my phone back into my back pocket.

"oh shit, for what?" she giggles. "Having a shower" I roll my eyes. "Those scotts. you just cant catch a break" She nudges me slightly.
