"Talent hits a target no one else can hit. Genius hits a target no one else can see.

Arthur Schopenhauer

Believe in yourself. You are braver than you think, more talented than you know, and capable of more than you imagine.

Roy T. Bennett, The Light in the Heart

Everyone has talent. What's rare is the courage to follow it to the dark places where it leads.

Erica Jong

When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, 'I used everything you gave me.

Erma Bombeck

You are unique. You have different talents and abilities. You don't have to always follow in the footsteps of others. And most important, you should always remind yourself that you don't have to do what everyone else is doing and have a responsibility to develop the talents you have been given.

Roy T. Bennett, The Light in the Heart

Talent can be defined as a natural aptitude or skill. Whereas a skill the ability to do something well; expertise. The youth is the future of the world.

That is why the worldwide known, self made Billionaire, André Klein took it upon himself to build and create an institute, Camp Klein, where a specifically selected handful of young energetic teens from all over the would a trained by well paid professionals to become the best at what they do," I sat in anticipation as the woman who represented Camp Klein continued to speak, "This year, the people who were chosen where..."

I leaned into the television and held my best friends hands as she started mentioning he names.

"Isabella Murphy

Jayden Armani

Edward Rooney

Luna Bamford

Amelia Garcia

Ella Carter

Jack Anderson

Hazel Thompson...,"

At the sound of one of my best friends names we all squealed. "Hazel you did it," she smiled and lowered her head. I shook my head at her. She had always been the shy one. "Shush, we can't hear the rest," my elder sister, Jenny, said throwing a pillow at us. We stayed quiet and continued listening.

"...Liam Chen

Leo Wang

Daniel Evans

Charlotte Clarke

Ava Scott

Zoe Li

Thomas Davis

Henry Jones

Clarice Carter

Frederick Fergusson

Noah Johnson

Hannah Browne...,"

Another round of squeals were heard. "I'm in. I'm in. I'm in," Hannah sang as she danced round the room. We all laughed. "Guys calm down and be quiet," Jenny repeated. "Grinch," Hannah whispered and we giggled.

"..Taylor

Ethan Morgan

Joseph Reid

William Martinez

Oliver Adams

Lucy Wright

Lily Mitchell

Grace Kelly

Sakura Ishida

Michael Williams

Mason Hernandez

Emily Moore...,"

I froze. "Emily, you're in." "I'm in?" I asked. Hannah groaned, " Yes you areeeee." "I'm in! I DID IT!! WE DID IT!!," I screamed. All of us started jumping around. Not listening to the rest of the names. "Girls relax. It hasn't ended," Jenny said in a bored tone but i saw a small smile on her face before she turned back to the television. It was almost so small you wouldn't notice it, but I did.

When we continued paying attention they were done with the names. "To all those who did not get in, we are sorry, but there is always a next year. To those who did. Congratulations, but remember the journey is now starting. See you all soon. My name is Louisa Bryson. Goodbye."

Immediately she ended Hannah put off the television and turned to us, "We are going there, the way we have always gone everywhere and done everything. Together." We all nodded our heads and jumped into a big group hug.

After that they all headed home. My parents arrived a few minutes after. "My sweet little girl is leaving me," Ma said as she walked through the door. I laughed and hugged her. Dad came from behind her and frowned, "No boys." I chuckled and left Ma to hug him. "Sure Papa." With that we ate our dinner with smiles on our faces.

One month later.

May went by very quickly and it was time to leave for Germany.

"Hey, be a good girl, okay? Do what you went there to do. Be a star. Make us proud. Remember you are. A beautiful, intelligent and talented young African woman. Always remember your maker," Papa said when it was time for me to leave. I nodded and gave them one big hug.

I walked towards the check in point after waving goodbye to my family and meeting up with my best friends. I turned back to my family to see them in tears. Even Jenny was in tears. I gave them one weak smile before walking out of their view.

Hannah held our hand and looked at Hazel and I, "Let's knock 'em dead." We smiled and got unto the plane as we left our old lives behind and headed for a new one.
