"Okay okay, let me get this straight. So you two are going to be spending more time together because you both hate spending time together. This is hilarious," Hannah laughed. "Girl keep quiet," Hazel scolded her before she turned to me.
"Emily, relax okay. Nothing is going to go wrong, okay?," and I nodded. "And you might realise that you two will get along. More than you could ever think." I scoffed and continue walking to the girls locker room with them.
"Their stupid plan to make us get along is never going to work. Like it's never actually going to work life is never ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever going to work. And I'm super sure about that because I know what he can do, I know what kind of guy he is and I know the kind of things he does. He is a backstabbing son of a..." Hazel cleared her throat. I rolled my eyes. "You guys are refusing to see the him that I see," i complained as i placed my bag down.
"What did he do?," Hannah asked. I shook my head, "What did he do that made you hate him so much? If you wouldn't tell us what he said that day that makes you hate him we can't feel the same way. Because from what you told us happened at that party it is clear it's just a miss understanding."
"It's nothing. I'm going to shower and then I'll head to detention." "It's not detention," Hazel stated. "Might as well be." After washing up, I headed to Mr. Stewart's office.
What did he do that made me so angry? I have no idea. All I know is that I just do.
"Wow , Miss Moore you aren't late. In fact, you are even earlier then William." Mr Stewart said once I arrived in his office. "You know, I think it's kind of disrespectful or unfair that you always call me Miss Moore and you call him William. Some people might even see you are biased. Or accuse you of favoritism," I said pretending to be annoyed.
"Miss Moore, Emily I can assure you I am not biased at all," he replied, clearly uncomfortable about the accusations. I smiled to myself and sat in one of his visitor's chairs. Just then William open the door and walked in. He looked shocked when he saw me in the room before him.
"There you are Mr Martinez." Williams rose his eyes at Mr Stewart confused. "Since when did you start calling me Mr Martinez." "Some people say it's unprofessional," he responded giving me a side glance.
I pretended not to notice it by reading his calendar. June was a picture of an Island with a beautiful sunset scenery. I just couldn't help but smile.
"Now that you are both here, let me tell you how this works. You are both to meet here and stay for an hour. It might increase on depending on what I see fit everyday. I am going to lock this door until the time is up and you two are going to spend enough time getting to know each other and try to stop your unnecessary fights. Have a good time."
With that he left, close the door and we heard a sound indicating that the door has been locked. William and I sat in silence none of us are willing to break it. I decided to pick up a book and start reading. The silence was sadly broken when he decided to talk. "So are we going to stay here and not talk to each other for the next hour," he asked. "I guess that the plan," is all I said and went back to read my book.
