Alex wakes up as his alarm goes off. He sits up, sighs softly, gets up, and stretches. Rubbing the sleep from his eyes and checking the time, 5:30am... Alex brushed his red hair out of his face and headed downstairs quietly to the guest bathroom. He washes his face with cold water and stares at himself in the mirror, his body covered in bruises, scars from cuts, and some cigarette burns. Alex teared up, looking at himself as flashbacks played in his head, the long, painful days and nights of the abuse from his aunt. The verbal, mental, and physical from men Denna brought home... Alex wipes away his tears, Denna always keeps telling strangers, and her clients Alex is her neice. Alex never identified as a girl he always known he was a boy, but Denna wanted a girl and she forced Alex to change everything about himself, his clothes, his hair, and she snuck pills into his drinks to keep him quite. Alex collects himself and uses the makeup. He is gifted by Laken and Denna to cover up the bruises, cuts, and burns. Alex has grown accustomed to wearing makeup and is doing amazing with it. Alex checks the time, and it was 6:15am, he finishes getting ready for school and did his moring chores so he wouldn't get shit from Dennna this early and started to cook breakfast. The next person to wake up was his cousin Ivan, Ivan doesn't say anything to Alex. He rarely speaks to Alex and just mostly ignores him. When Ivan does say anything to Alex, it's just mostly to tell him to get out of his way or remind him to stay away from him at school, Alex doesn't say anything to Ivan either. The two just shared a look for a brief moment and looked away, Ivan got some orange juice and sat down, waiting for his breakfast. Denna comes in right as Alex finished, Denna yawns and stretches, then looks at Ivan. "Good morning Ivan honey, Hello Alexandra," she greets them, Ivan grunted a morning. Alex eye twitches and musters a sweet voice "...Good morning Ma'am" he felt like vomiting as he finishes making Denna and Ivan's plate and sets them down on the table, he then makes Denna her usual cup of coffee. Shortly after he made her coffee, Alex started washing dishes. Denna was reading the newspaper and was telling Alex and Ivan that she had a very important business meeting that night and won't be back until really late that night. Ivan said okay, and he'll be hanging out with friends, Alex nods and asked "If I may, can I hang out with Laken?" Denna looks up at him."You know the rules, Alexandra. Only if you have all of your chores done." Alex nods."Of course." Shortly after that Alex and Ivan head off to school, Alex takes his seat in the back of the bus and puts it his earbuds listening to music, staring out the window, ignoring everyone's yelling. 15 minutes later, the bus stopped at Laken's house, Alex perks up a little, and his best friend/crush was getting on and made her way to the back to sit with Alex. "Hey Emo Boy, Hey, Hey, Hey Emo Boy~" she sang to Alex and he smiled as he rolled his eyes "Hey Mega Milk" he chuckles as Laken plops down next to him. Laken was on the plus size of the spectrum but she was still absolutely gorgeous to Alex and everyone around her, she never let fat jokes get to her and instead she came back with a amazing clap backs. The two chatted for a good while until they got to school, Alex sighs "Another day at the Hellhole called High-school" as they got to their lockers "Awe it's not too bad, you have me Alex" Laken said hugging Alex and Alex hugs her back, she has a point if it wasn't for her who knows where he would've been, she usually stood up to his bullies. "Yeah, you're right, you make everything better," he said, blushing an unnoticeable pink blush. Laken smiles and nudges him. "Good, now let's get going. I don't want to get another tardy from Coach Owen" she sighs as Alex snickered a little "Hey I love Coach Owen, she's awesome" "She such a hardass though" Laken whines "She has to be, she's a teacher who keeps her class in check. She's better than Hughes, " Alex said."You have a point. No straight man should be that obsessed with Tom Brady. " The two teens shudder in disgust.

----A few hours later----
Alex finished his math class and groaned the next class. Gym class was the class that brought him much despair. His main bully was in that class and always made Alex's life a living hell. As soon as Alex walked into the locker room, he was immediately ambushed "Hey look it's the freak. Aren't you supposed to be in the girls locker room sissy bitch" rang a voiced has Alex was trapped in a head locked and had a arm trapped in a painful position "AH, CARTER YOU DICK! LET ME GO!" Alex yelled, trying to escape. ((If you understand the "Carter you dick" reference, you're my favorite person)) Carter laughs and leans down to Alex's ear. "Oh yeah, what are you going to do about? You're weak and a little bitch" his grip tightens on Alex, Alex was starting to black out from the lack of oxygen until one of Carter's buddy's told him to cut it out, Carter let him go not before shoving him to the ground and kicking him in the gut about 3 times before they changed and left. Alex lay in the floor wheezing for air, and he felt the tears stinging his eyes, a class mate was sent to check on Alex, found him, and helped him to the nurses office. Alex didn't say anything because he knew nothing would be done, Alex was seen as a freak at school, and Carter was the schools quarterback. If he said anything then drama would be started and not end well for him, Alex was excused from gym from the day and got to go to his last and favorite class of the day, college level psychology. The teacher, Miss Valery, was his absolute favorite teacher and the only person besides Laken who knows of Alex's situation and does everything in her power to help her favorite student. She's always impressed with Alex's work and gives him more advanced assignments, and says he can get scholarships with the grades he has and get into any collage he wanted. Alex likes the sound of that, considering he had 2 months before graduation. After school, Alex headed home, and true to Denna's word, she wasn't home, and Ivan got off at his friends stop, Alex cleaned everything he was supposed to and messaged Laken when she wanted to hangout. While waiting tor her response, he got cleaned up and decided to sit in the living room and watch some TV.
